Yes you can pronounce either way, there are many places where it’s pronounced a- [name_m]Mose[/name_m]. It’s up to you.
I always thought of it as Ay-muss but I know a family that has it as a family name and they pronounce it Ay-mose so I’m sure you could use it both ways.
