Ana or Anna? I need to change before FIRST birthday

I have a friend with a daughter named [name_f]Ana[/name_f]. It is pronounced aww-na

[name_f]Ana[/name_f]- ahw nuh
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f] uh

Thanks everyone!
I agree with everyone that the way we say it is the way we spell it: [name_f]Ana[/name_f] (aww sound)So on her birth certificate it has two n’s ([name_f]Anna[/name_f]) and I liked the one poster who said that she could always keep it that way. when I look at her and when she was born everything about her especially her Slavic background and grandma from [name_f]Panama[/name_f] sounds like the aww sound [name_f]Ana[/name_f]. After all, the name and our baby are simply AWEsome

for the record growing up I always saw [name_f]Ana[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] the same. I didn’t meet anyone who pronounced it wirh the aww sound. it wasn’t until I started investigating and paying more attention to names and I thank this website and everyone here for their lovely input and attention. Names are fun and amazing. Thanks again!!
