Anagram Sibset

We all know about that Belgian family who has named all their children anagrams of Alex. Their current sibset is Alex, Axel, Xela, Lexa, Xael, Xeal, Exla, Leax, Xale, Elax, and Alxe. They’re expecting their 12th!

I thought this would be a fun challenge — using only four letters, create your ideal sibset. Name at least four kids!

I’d go with Romi, Miro, Omri, and… Mori? Rimo? Irmo? I really couldn’t name 12.

Your turn!

The first is my own name so I wouldn’t actually use it, but hypothetically I like the idea of [name_f]Leah[/name_f], [name_u]Hale[/name_u], Hela, and Aleh! I worry Aleh looks a little like “bleh” but I’ve known people called [name_u]Ale[/name_u] (pronounced ah-leh) short for [name_m]Alejandro[/name_m] and [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] so I don’t think Aleh is too ‘out there’ as a name.

Also, maybe [name_f]Elva[/name_f], [name_f]Vela[/name_f], [name_u]Leva[/name_u], and [name_u]Vale[/name_u]!

If I could use 5 letters, maybe [name_u]Elias[/name_u], [name_f]Elisa[/name_f], Islae, and [name_f]Alise[/name_f]? I’d probably have to use nicknames so they wouldn’t sound so similar, though :grimacing: [name_u]Eli[/name_u], [name_f]Lissy[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], and [name_u]Allie[/name_u]?

one combo not on the list that i came up with is viola + ivalo! stylistically opposites but i kinda love it. to make it four, you could add oliva + lovia (or olavi, but i prefer separate initials)

claudine + dulcinea was a real jawdropper, i love that those are anagrams!!

for something i’d actually name my kids, i played around with the duos on the list and came up with:
eliza, zelia, alize, + izela

my criteria were for them to all have separate initials and an entry on nb, as well as me being happy with the names individually! i actually really like this sibset, haha
