On [name_f]February[/name_f] 18, we welcomed a 6lb 10oz little girl with brown eyes and blonde hair into our not so small family. For her name we chose [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] because of its spunky feel and nickname potential. We are currently calling her [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Susie[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_f]Susie[/name_f]-[name_f]Bea[/name_f], and [name_f]Sanna[/name_f]. I’m excited to see which ones will stick and what other nicknames will arise. I found [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] while browsing lists for her name and it felt so perfect to both of us. I have a good friend named [name_f]Lily[/name_f] so the meaning was just another indicator that this was the name. Unlike all the older kids’ middle names, [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is not an honor name but rather a name we chose for its meaning and sound. We were going to save it for a potential baby #5, but we decided to go for it right now as we may not have a #5 or it may be a boy. It means blessed which is exactly how we feel right now with our family.
Her older siblings [name_f]Louise[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] are in love and [name_m]Eddie[/name_m] is loving his new role as big brother.
