I like [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] better with your surname, and also I think it sounds better if you are still going to go with mn [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u].

I think I’d have to forgo [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] if we went with [name_m]thomas[/name_m]. I’d probably go with [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u], or some other [name_m]New[/name_m] Testament name as my other three boys have [name_m]New[/name_m] Testament first and middle names. I’d like to honor the multiple Lawrences in mine and dh’s family, but it obviously isn’t a pressing priority as I’ve named 3 sons without doing so =)

[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is one of my favorite names! I understand though because I have a “T” last name and it would not sound great. Plus, we did not like the initials TT.

I like [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] better as a name objectively, but I think [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] works better for you both with your surname and with your sibset. Though [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] Tys0n would be very handsome if you haven’t decided on a middle name yet. The fact that most of your children have non-nicknameable names makes me want you to step away from [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], as I’m not sure [name_m]Tom[/name_m]/[name_m]Tommy[/name_m] would match up quite the same and most Thomases I know (literally all bar one) go by a nickname, whereas [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is less likely to be nicknamed to the same extent.

Ironically, I dislike nicknames with the two glaring exceptions of [name_m]Johnny[/name_m] and [name_m]Tommy[/name_m]. Though I view [name_m]Tommy[/name_m] as something I’d call him when he’s small and not something his teachers would call him. My husband does plan on calling [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_u]Drew[/name_u].

I prefer [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] but I think [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] sounds better with your surname.
