What animal names do you consider usable for girls? I’m really just grasping at straws, here. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] will be here next month and we have nothing for names. I’m trying different angles to see if I can get the dh to agree to anything beyond Schmitty.

[name_u]Ariel[/name_u] means “lion of God”. So maybe that counts?
[name_u]Robin[/name_u], [name_m]Tiger[/name_m], [name_m]Fox[/name_m], [name_f]Lark[/name_f], [name_f]Swan[/name_f], [name_f]Giselle[/name_f], [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] (like [name_f]Tabby[/name_f] cat).
I like [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] ([name_f]Gazelle[/name_f]), [name_u]Robin[/name_u] and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] - cat. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have names on your shortlist?
[name_f]Fawn[/name_f] and [name_f]Doe[/name_f] could both work well - at least for middles.

I literally have nothing that the dh agrees with it.
I do like [name_f]Leona[/name_f]. My dad’s middle name is [name_m]Leon[/name_m], so there’s family connection there. I have a [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], so [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is out. I love [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], but that would be vetoed before I could even finish saying the name. [name_m]Fox[/name_m] would have been the name we used if baby was a boy. I’m tempted to just use it anyway, but just not sure if I like it on a girl like I would on a boy. [name_f]Lark[/name_f] and [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] are two I’ve been eyeing, as well. The first 5 girls were easy to name, this girl…all the good names are taken! I can’t even picture her with any name that I’ve personally suggested.
