[name_m]How[/name_m] do you think each of these names work as a sister to [name_f]Anna[/name_f]:
[name_f]Sarah[/name_f]
[name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], and [name_f]Mila[/name_f] best as sisters to [name_f]Anna[/name_f]! My favorite is [name_f]Eva[/name_f]. [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] has been one of my favorite combos for a long time as well.
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] ([name_f]Claire[/name_f]) & [name_f]Anna[/name_f] (mn) is beautiful!
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] is my favorite.
I like [name_f]Claire[/name_f] best of your options. And I have an [name_f]Anna[/name_f] myself! Like [name_f]Anna[/name_f], it’s classic, beautiful, simple, and sophisticated.
I think they all work with the exception of [name_f]Mila[/name_f]. All the others are as classic as [name_f]Anna[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. [name_f]Mila[/name_f] feels a bit too modern and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] was overused by 1980s parents like mine. If you are looking for suggestions, I think [name_f]Jane[/name_f] would go great with [name_f]Anna[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f] all work well with sister [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] doesn’t work because it is quite nicknamey compared with the grown-up feel of [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] would be fine though. I like [name_f]Claire[/name_f] best of those, but [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] are also lovely.
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] is my favorite, but [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is very nice too.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] are classic.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] are OK, but [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is awfully popular and the combo is vowely.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Mila[/name_f] OK, but again [name_f]Mila[/name_f] does not feel fresh to me.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f], OK, but too many Claires.
So they all sound fine, but I like the first best by far.
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] I dislike, plus [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is a classic and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is not to me. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is lovely though.
I love [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f].
I only see the others as nicknames for these:
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] - [name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_u]Marlow[/name_u] - [name_f]Mila[/name_f]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] - [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]
Good luck!
[name_f]Sarah[/name_f] Very nice
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] Very nice
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] This works. The names are compatible, but a little different stylistically.
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] Fabulous! This is my favorite.
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] This sounds a little incomplete next to [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. I would prefer [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Elise[/name_f] or [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].
THANK YOU!!

Working from your basic list but changing them up slightly, I’d choose
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] ([name_f]Annie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f])
I also like
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] sounds fresher to me than [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
Good luck deciding!
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] is by far my favorite choice as a sister to [name_f]Anna[/name_f].
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] is too modern, and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is too nick-namey. [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], I think, has too many of the same vowel sounds.
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] could work, but it’s not as fabulous as [name_f]Claire[/name_f], imho.
I like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] or [name_f]Mila[/name_f] with [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. As Araminty commented, [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is more nicknamey.
[name_f]Susan[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], and [name_f]Mila[/name_f] with [name_f]Anna[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f] sound the best, though [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] works too.
My favorite is [name_f]Claire[/name_f], but I do like the suggestion of [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
My second choice would be [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], but spelled [name_f]Sara[/name_f].
I’m not a fan of [name_f]Mila[/name_f] & [name_f]Eva[/name_f], & [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] does seem to be more of a nn than a full name. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] & [name_f]Ella[/name_f] are too match-y to my eye/ear, but [name_f]Anna[/name_f] & [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] are classics that go together well [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
Good luck!
