Annabel or Eloise?

I I love both of these names so much! [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] feels like it’s getting a little too popular especially with all of the Ella/Ellie/Eleanors I meet (I am a primary school teacher).

Absolutely [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]

I prefer [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] myself, but I do think [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is less popular at the moment. [name_f]So[/name_f] if you care about popularity, I’d say [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. They’re both beautiful though, there’s not really a wrong option here.

I love both, but for popularity i’d say [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]! I personally prefer [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] by a small margin though

I’ve just been thinking how much I miss seeing [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] on others’ radar! [name_f][/name_f] I love her, and she absolutely gets my vote. [name_f][/name_f] I like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] too, but [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] has my heart. [name_f][/name_f] All the best!

[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is lovely – so cosy, sweet and frilly but solid and grounded too. I also prefer nicknames [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], or [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Bel[/name_f] / [name_f]Belle[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f] to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]

I really love [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], that spelling specifically. [name_f]Love[/name_f] a tailored -bel ending over frillier -belles. I’ve only ever known one [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] (she’d be in her late 20s now) and one [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] (who is about ten). [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] with her Scottish flair makes me think of determined princesses in old tales, she’s bright and musical to say aloud and has a lovely meaning.

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is also very pretty, she makes me think of girls giggling backstage at the theatre, and I think she’s underrated. I’ve known one, who went by ‘Elu’ (ELL-oo) as a nickname. But you’re right that at the moment she is more likely to blend into a classroom than [name_f]Annabel[/name_f].

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]The[/name_m] stats: [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is in the top 100 in the UK and US whereas [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is in the 300s in the UK and 900s in the US [name_f][/name_f]- but[name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is 146 in the UK and in the 300s in the US, which may make [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] feel more popular than she is and also lead to potential misspellings, if that bothers you.

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] for me. Rather be associated with a book than the doll.

[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]

Personally, I enjoy [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] more regardless of popularity. [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is a lovely name, however. I think they work well together as a sibset.

How sweet are these names [name_f][/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f]I am a sucker of Ann-names so my heart is with [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] but I think they would make a very cute sister set [name_f][/name_f]. I have never met an [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] but I know 2 Annabel’s

I really like both, but I prefer [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].

I’ve never really liked [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], though I loved the book as a child. [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] for the win (which I’m a bit obsessed with at the moment) :sparkles:

I prefer [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]! :two_hearts:[name_f][/name_f] I love that name, and I’ve never personally been a fan of [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. However, it is still a lovely name that I think a little girl would be happy to have and would suit her well from baby to adulthood if that’s the name her parents love!
