Does anyone else find [name]Annie[/name] as adorable as I do? or is it just boring? I probably wouldn’t use [name]Anne[/name] (boring) or [name]Anna[/name] (too popular), if I was going to use it. I was thinking:

What does everyone else think? Any other unusual ways to get to [name]Annie[/name]?

Yep, [name]Annie[/name]'s adorable! One of the best nicknames around, in my opinion. I happen to love [name]Anna[/name] most, but if that’s too popular for you, I think these are nice:

Also, I think [name]Antonia[/name] and [name]Anastasia[/name] are both great.

I love the nn [name]Annie[/name]! [name]Annora[/name], [name]Lemon[/name]'s suggestion, was actually on our list for awhile… and will probably pop back up when a sibling comes along. [name]Annora[/name] nn [name]Annie[/name] is beyond beautiful! I also like [name]Anastasia[/name], but I knew a girl who had that name that went by [name]Stacy[/name], which I’m not a fan of.

You have great taste!

[name]Annie[/name] is very cute! My favorite ways to get to [name]Annie[/name]:

[name]Frances[/name] (quite a bit of a stretch)

There’s also:

I really like [name]Annie[/name]. I’ve been considering [name]Anne[/name] for my daughter (or possibly [name]Anna[/name]—I’m a bit put off by that one’s popularity). But I think the nickname is sweet and classy and ages well. I tend not to like a lot of the [name]Ann[/name] variants–they feel too dolled up for my tastes (but I do like some pretty stark names, mind you:)

I like [name]Annie[/name] as a nn for [name]Susana[/name] or something like that–but I do think it’s not necessarily intuitive. You’d really have to ‘enforce’ the nickname. I think I’d find that annoying to have to police, but I do think if you don’t mind doing it, there are lots of possibilities that are more of a ‘stretch’. My faves are the more obvious ones though.

I like [name]Annie[/name], it’s sweet and wholesome. My favourite proper form would be [name]Anne[/name], followed by [name]Susanna[/name]. [name]Annia[/name] is a rather unusual way that hasn’t been mentioned yet (I don’t think). It’s Latin, meaning ‘priceless’.

Good [name]Luck[/name]!

I love [name]Annie[/name]! My favorites from your list are [name]Susannah[/name] and [name]Anastasia[/name] - both beautiful names! I also love [name]Anna[/name] or [name]Anya[/name], which means “grace.”

I like [name]Annie[/name] a lot. Apologies or repeats but here’s a list of all the names I can think of which could nickname to [name]Annie[/name]:

Think that it!
What do you think? Any good?

I love [name]Annie[/name] so much too! I plan on possibly using it in the future as a nn for [name]Angelica[/name]
