Does anyone know anything about the name Likan? (It’s the middle name of [name_u]Henry[/name_u] [name_m]Golding[/name_m] + [name_f]Liv[/name_f] Lo’s newborn daughter, Florence).
[name_f]My[/name_f] online search has led me to believe it’s of Nepali origin, but that’s all I can confirm! Wondering if any of you have further insight.
Likan seems to be part of [name_u]Henry[/name_u] Golding’s mother’s name (Margaret Likan Golding). She’s from Sarawak in [name_f]Malaysia[/name_f] and is of Iban ancestry, so I assume it’s either a first or surname from that ethnic group! [name_u]Will[/name_u] try to dig deeper but that’s all I can find so far.
