Any names ending in -tress?

I’m looking for names ending in -tress. The character for this name would be really feminine, easy-going, liked-by-everyone and usually stubborn. Can anyone thing of anything?

I can’t find any that end in “tress,” (you could make one up!) but there are some -ress and -tess names, for example [name]Cypress[/name] and Maritess. You’ll find this helpful: Pregnancy, Parenting, Lifestyle, Beauty: Tips & Advice | mom.com

I can’t think of one. Neither can NB’s search engine or a quick Google search. I know that Tress and [name]Tressa[/name] can be nicknames for [name]Theresa[/name]/[name]Teresa[/name]/[name]Therese[/name], so that would be my suggestion. Otherwise, I think you’ll have to go with something made-up: Alitress, Maritress, Anitress, Winitress–but I think those run the risk of sounding like place names or prescription drugs.

My name is [name]Tressa[/name] and you seriously just described me to a T.

I can’t think of any name ending is -tress besides just Tress.

creative spelling of [name]Beatrice[/name]

Beatress :stuck_out_tongue:

the only one i can think of is [name]Chantress[/name]

I just did a search and the only on I could find was Chantress which meant “stone, boulder” Here’s what the site said "Chantress’ language of origin is Old Provençal and it is predominantly used in English. Chantress is a derivative of the Dutch, English, and French [name]Chantal[/name]. "
