Anyone like the name Vex?

I really like the name Vex. I know it means ‘to annoy,’ but I would like to hear other peoples thoughts about the name.

Not a fan. It’s not a positive word or a word I’d want attached to my child forever. And I don’t really see it as a name. It has the cool ‘v’ and ‘x’. It’s short and punchy like a lot of popular names now. But not my cup of tea.

Too negative, just asking for teasing… a pity, because I love the sound of the similar [name_u]Rex[/name_u].

I don’t like it at all. There are plenty of names that sound similar but don’t mean “to annoy”, like [name_m]Fox[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_m]Knox[/name_m], [name_u]Vic[/name_u], [name_u]Pax[/name_u], [name_m]Dex[/name_m], [name_u]Lex[/name_u] and [name_m]Dax[/name_m].

I second this, too. I do see the appeal to Vex but the connotations aren’t something I’d like to bestow upon a child.
