Apocalypse Name

I was watching Last [name_u]Man[/name_u] on [name_f]Earth[/name_f] and it made me wonder, if you were part of a group repopulating the earth, what names would you want to use? There wouldn’t be popularity involved, and you might influence naming with your choice.

I’d probably use [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_u]Israel[/name_u], [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_m]Xander[/name_m], [name_u]Oliver[/name_u], [name_u]Parker[/name_u], or [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] for a boy & [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], Livianna, [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], [name_f]Sophronia[/name_f], [name_f]Rachelle[/name_f], [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f], [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f], or [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] for a girl.

Probably a lot of names, as, in this scenario, a lot of people, famous and not, whose names and stories I would like the future population to know, would have vanished.
So, every kid would probably have about 11 names in total

i think i would prioritize multicultural names and pop-culture references as a way of preserving the historical record! it’s easier to remember a story if your name is a reminder. and i agree with the poster above that i would probably favour much longer combos.
