Arabella or Katerina?

DH and I are really close to choosing a name for our second baby girl due next month. Our first daughter is [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], which name compliments DD’s best?

Arabella [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Katerina[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]

What one is your favorite, why?

I prefer [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. It gives me more of the same vibes.
But if you’re stuck between the two maybe the potential nicknames could help you decide? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_u]Ari[/name_u] or [name_f]Bella[/name_f]? Or do you like [name_f]Kate[/name_f]/Katie/Kitty? Of course you may not use any nicknames at all but at some point she might choose to go by one.
They’re both beautiful names so I don’t think you can go wrong.

I like [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] better, but I think [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] fits better with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].

@whatchamacallit I prefer to use full names, however, I have thought of potential nicknames as my oldest goes by [name_u]Vic[/name_u] at times.

Ara or [name_f]Kat[/name_f] would be my choice.

I personally prefer [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] but I think [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] goes best with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. Both are beautiful though!

Katerina [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is my favorite. I’ve never been a fan of the -bella names. [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] has the beauty of [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], with a little extra spark because it is more international looking.

As far as complimenting the very pretty [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], maybe I will have to vote [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I’m just going with my gut.

I prefer [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] compliments [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] really well! [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] is also nice though I think having a t in [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] is a little too much.

I like [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. But I love [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] as a middle because of your older daughters name.

Arabella [name_f]Jane[/name_f]

Both are lovely, can’t go wrong.

I don’t always love names than end with a vowel and then have a middle name start with a vowel… so my vote goes to arabella!

Katerina [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]

Arabella [name_f]Jane[/name_f], definitely

Katerina [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]! Elegant, beautiful and sweet.

I like [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] better but I think [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] fits better with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] :slightly_smiling_face:

I prefer [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]! I think it sounds lovely with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]!

I prefer [name_f]Katerina[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] both as a name and with the lovely [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is beautiful.

Arabella [name_f]Jane[/name_f]!

I lean toward [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] here. I actually don’t think [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] goes all that well with [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], which I know is a dissenting opinion to the consensus, that’s just my personal perception of these names.

Katerina, while the etymology is quite different, gives off a vibe that feels more in line with a sister to [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] I think.

I like [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] ivy more. I feel like [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] blends in with all the other -[name_f]Bella[/name_f] names. [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] feels a lot more fresh and I just like it more in a sense.
