I prefer [name]Arabella[/name] over [name]Aria[/name] because I always lean towards first names that allow for multiple nicknames (e.g. [name]Ari[/name], [name]Bella[/name]). That being said, I wouldn’t pick either but I think that they are both very feminine sounding.

I really like both of them, but I vote [name]Aria[/name]. I watched PLL too, but I fall in love with [name]Aria[/name] because of its meaning (and bach’s goldberg variation aria <— a song). lol.
I like Arabella, but it is never been my favourite -bella name and I always confuse whether I like Arabella more or Arabelle.
I like both for different reasons. But if I had to choose at this very moment, I would choose [name]Arabella[/name] (pronounced “Ahr-ah-bell-ah”).
[name]Aria[/name] is a little too trendy for me and I live in [name]California[/name]. And “[name]Aria[/name]” is a little too air-y for me. I need more consonants.
[name]Arabella[/name]! [name]Arabella[/name]! I really like it and I see it as edgy, elegant and spunky.
I really like both, though I think I prefer [name]Aria[/name]. It sounds so delicate and feminine, and I love it’s slightly whimsical quality!
[name]Love[/name], love, love [name]Arabella[/name]. It’s so charming and romantic and frilly. To me, [name]Aria[/name] just seems empty and trendy. It lacks personality, somehow. I love [name]Arianne[/name] and [name]Ariana[/name], though.
I love them both, but I picked [name]Aria[/name]. It seems like it’ll work better in the long run.
I love [name]Aria[/name], I don’t see it as trendy because I grew up with an [name]Aria[/name] decades before Pretty [name]Little[/name] Liars…it’s a musical name for me and I imagine thats how it will remain long term.
[name]Arabella[/name] is just too frilly for my taste.
I love both, but I chose [name]Aria[/name]. The nn [name]Bella[/name] is a turnoff to me now, I know several Bellas. I love [name]Aria[/name] because it is musical, and music is important to me. It just has a sweet, airy sound that makes me happy when I hear it. I love the full name [name]Arabella[/name] also! It’s really very beautiful and underused, but I think it would be impossible to keep her friends from calling her [name]Bella[/name] if she wasn’t the one reinforcing [name]Arabella[/name], and that taints the name for me and makes it seem less original. Sorry.
I know an [name]Arabella[/name], and her name seems way to frilly for her personality. [name]Arabella[/name] is so frilly, and I don’t see any non-frilly nn ([name]Bella[/name]…) [name]Aria[/name] is so versatile.
I think they’re both lovely choices but I vote for [name]Aria[/name] because that’s the name I chose for my daughter! [name]IMO[/name] it’s just thr right amount girly without being too frilly and I love the musical association with the name. I don’t think the name is very trendy at all - at least not where I live (Kentucky).

I’ve always considered the possibility of [name]Aria[/name] for a nn for [name]Arabella[/name]. It’s a tad of a stretch, but I think it works. Mine is often called by her full name or [name]Bella[/name]/[name]Belle[/name]. Tried [name]Ari[/name], but she’s such a princess. I thoroughly adore the frilly, princess style names. [name]Arabella[/name] wins for me

[name]Arabella[/name] - it just seems to have more substance to it.
I see no reason why you couldn’t use [name]Arabella[/name] and use the nn ‘[name]Aria[/name]’.
[name]Both[/name] are lovely but I much prefer [name]Aria[/name].
I personally prefer shorter, spunkier names because I think they fit a wider range of personalities, if that makes sense. They wouldn’t immediately be judged as a frilly don’t-like-to-get-my-hands-dirty type of girl. I also think they work better in the business world. I realise this is not neccesarily the case, but that’s just how I feel
So while I like [name]Arabella[/name] as a name it’s not one I’d personally use.
[name]Aria[/name]. I just find [name]Arabella[/name] a bit too frilly!
[name]Both[/name] are pretty, however I find [name]Arabella[/name] too frilly so [name]Aria[/name] gets my vote. [name]Ari[/name] would be a nice nickname.
