[name_f]Dorcas[/name_f], Ismeria, [name_m]Philo[/name_m], and possibly [name_f]Rin[/name_f] (but especially [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f]) strike me as not usable, but the rest are!
[name_f]Sia[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]: definitely usable! [name_f]Sia[/name_f] is very sweet, snappy and cool, and longer classic [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] balances it out really nicely.
[name_f]Dorcas[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]: I’m sorry, but [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f] will never be usable in my eyes. The first syllable is “dork”, for crying out loud! I love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] though.
Ismeria [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and Ismeria [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]: both gorgeous! Hmm, tricky one… I think Ismeria could be wearable, especially as it offers the option of “normal” nn [name_u]Izzy[/name_u], or [name_f]Ismay[/name_f] for a kookier option. [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] and [name_f]Willow[/name_f] are both definitely wearable.
[name_u]Felice[/name_u] [name_f]Melisende[/name_f]: I think [name_u]Felice[/name_u] could definitely work, but I’d maybe pair it with a different middle for real-life use, as this is lovely but a mouthful.
[name_f]Rin[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]: I don’t really like [name_f]Rin[/name_f] but I don’t see why it couldn’t work. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] adds some femininity.
[name_f]Aya[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]: I really like this one and it’s definitely usable! [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] is especially gorgeous!
[name_f]Danica[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u]: usable. I actually know a [name_f]Danica[/name_f]!
I’d say all of your boys are usable for sure! My favouites are [name_m]Esai[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m], [name_m]Philo[/name_m] [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Channing[/name_u], in that order.
[name_f]Sia[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]: Beautiful!
[name_f]Dorcas[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]: I would not use [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f]. I have an aunt [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f] who despises her name. She goes by [name_u]Lee[/name_u], but even still, she was picked on mercilessly as a child.
Ismeria [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and Ismeria [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]: I love all the names and think they are all usable.
[name_u]Felice[/name_u] [name_f]Melisende[/name_f]: I like both names, but not really together.
[name_f]Rin[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]: Ummmm, hmmmm. It’s usable maybe, but [name_f]Rin[/name_f] you might want to steer clear of.
[name_f]Aya[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]: Fine.
[name_f]Danica[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u]: Absolutely usable. There was a new [name_f]Danica[/name_f] just born down the street from me.
Boys-
[name_m]Callan[/name_m] [name_m]Park[/name_m]: Very nice and usable.
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Channing[/name_u]: I don’t love [name_u]Channing[/name_u], but it’s usable.
[name_m]Esai[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m]: [name_m]Esai[/name_m] or [name_m]Esau[/name_m]? Either way, usable to me.
[name_m]Philo[/name_m] [name_m]Dominic[/name_m]: [name_m]Philo[/name_m] may not be the best choice for a first, but I do like the combo.
[name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]: Very usable.
[name_m]Joel[/name_m] [name_u]Haven[/name_u]: Absolutely.
I think all of your names are very usable My personal favourites are [name_f]Aya[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f], [name_f]Sia[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], [name_m]Joel[/name_m] [name_u]Haven[/name_u], & [name_m]Philo[/name_m] [name_m]Dominic[/name_m].
I love both the names [name_f]Rin[/name_f] and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]! What about [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Rin[/name_f]? I personally like one syllable middle names for some reason. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is beautiful and you could call her [name_f]Sera[/name_f], Phina, Phi (pronounced [name_u]Fee[/name_u])… [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!
I actually knew a [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f] and people laughed about her name. I guess because it sounds like dork. But she was popular and well thought of.
I would steer clear of [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f] especially and I would discourage the use of [name_f]Rin[/name_f]. It sounds an awful lot like Rim. Have you considered [name_u]Rue[/name_u], [name_m]Rune[/name_m] or [name_u]Wren[/name_u]? I think all of those are much more usable.
Girls - Usable
[name_f]Sia[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] - If everybody uses [name_f]Mia[/name_f], why would [name_f]Sia[/name_f] not be an alternative? [name_f]Sia[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] sounds perfect for a little Italian girl.
Ismeria [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and Ismeria [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] - It reminds me of [name_f]Esme[/name_f]+[name_f]Maria[/name_f]. I like it! Also, having [name_f]Immy[/name_f], [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], [name_f]Mimi[/name_f], [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Merida[/name_f]… as nicknames is pretty cool!
[name_f]Rin[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] - I could see this work. Not sure if [name_f]Rin[/name_f] could stand on its own, but [name_f]Rin[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] sounds solid.
[name_f]Aya[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] - Totally suitable, expect I would prefer it spelled [name_u]Arya[/name_u].
[name_f]Danica[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u] - Also totally suitable even if I [name_f]Dania[/name_f] to [name_f]Danica[/name_f].
Girls - Not Usable
[name_f]Dorcas[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] - [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f]? Orcas? Dorky?
[name_u]Felice[/name_u] [name_f]Melisende[/name_f] - Too much sss sound.
Boys - Usable
[name_m]Callan[/name_m] [name_m]Park[/name_m] - Great alternative to [name_m]Callum[/name_m] or [name_m]Cullen[/name_m].
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Channing[/name_u] - I really like this one.
[name_m]Philo[/name_m] [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] - I could see it on a person. I don’t really like [name_m]Philo[/name_m] but it could work.
[name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_m]Joel[/name_m] [name_u]Haven[/name_u]
Boys - Not Usable
[name_m]Esai[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] - Not sure how to pronounce it… Would it be essay? Ezai?
Everyone has already given a lot of feedback, but I think [name_f]Rin[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is really cute and have a few suggestions. [name_f]Rin[/name_f] seems a little abrupt with [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] as a middle, so maybe you could use a name that ends in [name_f]Rin[/name_f] and use it as a nick name.
Ooh! Someone else likes Ismeria! Obviously I’m quite liberal with using unusual names as I have one myself (first AND last since taking DH’s name) and have suffered no ill effects. The only one I would hesitate on is [name_f]Dorcas[/name_f].
