We’re naming a sister to Molly and love the names Maisie or Lily. But, are they too matchy with Molly? Which goes better/worse? Which is your favorite?
I definitely don’t think they’re too similar to [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]! I know sisters called [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] and never have I thought their names were too close to each other.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Maisie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] are both lovely names and both sound great with [name_f]Molly[/name_f]. I’d probably say I prefer [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] as that seems to roll off the tongue better but I may just think that as I’m used to saying it. I also don’t think there is anything wrong with a [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] sibset.
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] & [name_f]Molly[/name_f] are so cute together! [name_f]Molly[/name_f] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f] definitely work too, but I like them together slightly less (but only slightly!) you’ve got two great options
I think they could work! I’ve met sisters [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Mollie[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- and the [name_m]Li[/name_m]- and [name_m]Mo[/name_m]- syllables stand out enough that they don’t match too much [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] work too if you don’t mind shared first initials!
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is my preference
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] to close but [name_f]Lily[/name_f] works gorgeously as a sister for M0lly!!!
I think both would work well with [name_f]Molly[/name_f], but I prefer [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] – this pair only repeats the first letter, while [name_f]Molly[/name_f] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f] repeat that -ly ending which feels a bit more significant.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Molly[/name_f] & [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] would make such adorable sisters!
They’re both a LITTLE close. I think [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is a better fit.
