Are the names Elizabeth and William evil?

Are the names Elizabeth and William evil? I’m not pregnant ( Still 19 years old. NOT EVEN MARRIED ), But I’ve always liked these names ( They have good nicknames), But recently in internet, Many people tell me that they think these names are evil and vicious. They attribute this to the evil characters or people named William and Elizabeth. What is your opinion ??

absolutely not! william and elizabeth are gorgeous classics, and while there may be some people who have these names that aren’t the best, that’s something that happens with every name… especially such common ones!

No, I’ve never heard anything like that about either name. I’m honestly surprised that many people think that! They are very classic, traditional names.

while there may be some awful characters named elizabeth and william, these names are both classic, timeless, and common enough that i don’t think these associations would stick for most people!

These names are so common and classic that I don’t associate them with anything or anyone.

I just think they are boring. I don’t even think of them like that because they are so old and basic.

[name_u]William[/name_u] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] have been used throughout history and literature for many different figures and characters, so to me, they don’t feel too attached to one idea or character. They dont sound evil to me

?? Why would anyone say this? [name_u]William[/name_u] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] are both classics and lovely all around.

I don’t think they are evil at all.

Being such common names there are probably many bad people and characters named [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_u]William[/name_u]. However, at the same time many good or neutral associations also exist.

I don’t think so! I think they’re very nice

What?! NO! That’s so silly! They are both wonderful names! When I hear them together, I immediately think of Pirates of the Caribbean!

I’m not aware of any of the “evil” aspects of either name. Both are classic names that have been used for many people over the years.

[name_f]My[/name_f] cousin is one of them. [name_u]An[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] who goes by [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f], she has never heard of any negativity surrounding her name. In fact, she recently had a trip to Elizabethtown with her boyfriend and enjoyed the irony of it all. She never heard such talk about towns with the name either.

Evil and vicious? I certainly don’t think so! :relaxed: For one, I think they’re both far too common to be associated with any one description. I think they’re both very classic, very [name_f]English[/name_f], and very regal. They feel warm to me, and are gentle names. They’re lovely!

Not evil at all. [name_m]Just[/name_m] boring imo.

Um, is this a joke?

Assuming it’s a serious question: no, they’re not evil. They’re just ordinary [name_f]English[/name_f] names. I have no idea who these evil characters or associations are.

Exactly! And to be honest, I saw more good and kind people with the names [name_u]William[/name_u] or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] more than bad people. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like the names [name_u]Daniel[/name_u], [name_u]David[/name_u], [name_u]James[/name_u], Isabella/Isabel and [name_f]Alice[/name_f], which are used by good and bad people because of their age.

I wish it was… But we can just ignore this kind of people. I myself love the [name_u]William[/name_u] name. And i saw so many good people with this name. [name_m]Just[/name_m] ignore them.:+1:

They think that there are more bad people in history with these names than good people. But this is ridiculous because the name [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is also used by many bad people and good people. I myself love the name [name_u]William[/name_u] and even in my stories the names of good and kind people are [name_u]William[/name_u].
