Are [name_f]Meleah[/name_f] and [name_f]Madelynn[/name_f]/[name_f]Madeline[/name_f] too close?
No! They’re quite different and unique I think 
I think they sound fine together. They do sound a bit similar, but they’re just different enough. I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] the name [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] at the moment, but I’ve never heard of [name_f]Meleah[/name_f]. It sounds very pretty!
But yeah, I don’t think they’re too close. I think they’re fine
They’re not too close! I personally don’t see anything wrong with using the same initial if those are the names you love. I love [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and [name_f]Malia[/name_f] (my daughter has a really good friend who is half Hawaiian and her middle name is [name_f]Malia[/name_f]… every time I hear her full name I swoon!!! love love love [name_f]Malia[/name_f])
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f] pronounced mad uh line is one of my favs too! I like the [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] spelling.

Honestly, in my taste they are both too similar in sound and too far apart in style. In my opinion, if they were spelled [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Malia[/name_f], that would bring them closer together in style, but I think I’m just the kind of person who prefers sibsets to be different initials and sounds.
[name_f]Meleah[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] are not too close. I would not use [name_f]Madelynn[/name_f].
