I really like the names [name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] ‘NN [name_f]Millie[/name_f]’, [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] but i’m conserned some of them are too close to my daughters name [name_f]Amy[/name_f]-[name_f]Louise[/name_f].
What do you all think are they too close to [name_f]Amy[/name_f] - if so which ones are too close & any other suggestions similar to them.
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] are your best options imho. I do think the others are a bit matchy.
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] are all too close, but [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] have very different styles and don’t match up with [name_f]Amy[/name_f]-[name_f]Louise[/name_f] at all.
I’d suggest [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f], [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].
I’m trying t find a name that sounds ok with [name_f]Amy[/name_f]-[name_f]Louise[/name_f] but I can use the NN [name_f]Millie[/name_f]. - As we liked [name_f]Millie[/name_f] & [name_f]Mollie[/name_f] but my cousin has just used [name_f]Mollie[/name_f] so we can’t use it. So I’m not trying to find a name to go with [name_f]Amy[/name_f]-[name_f]Louise[/name_f] & that can have the NN [name_f]Millie[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as a middle name. - I cant use [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] as I have a friend called it.
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] & Wilhemina are too old. - [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] I don’t get how the NN [name_f]Millie[/name_f] comes out - I also cant use it as a cousin has a [name_f]Matilda[/name_f].
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] aren’t too close, but all the others are. You have started so many threads like this, I think we may be running out of ideas! If it’s [name_f]Millie[/name_f] that you love, use [name_f]Millie[/name_f]! I know it’s a nickname, but it’s not totally unheard of as a given name. If [name_f]Molly[/name_f] can stand alone, I don’t see why [name_f]Millie[/name_f] can’t. Or what about [name_f]Milla[/name_f] or [name_f]Camilla[/name_f]?
[name_f]Camilla[/name_f] or [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] have the nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f].
I agree with pps that they are all too close except for [name_u]Eden[/name_u] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f].
I’m sorry I thought it was a page you ask for help/advice of names on.
I do really love [name_f]Millie[/name_f] but I’m just concerned that it wont be good on a 30/40 year old. - [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] is unusable due to the English royal family. - I love [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] but I’m unsure what my boyfriend will say. - [name_f]Milla[/name_f] is cute but again I’m unusre on what he will say.
