I have a preference for long girl names that end in A and I was wondering if it’s okay or if it’s lame to use all names that end with the same sound. I would really appreciate your opinions and any suggestions for middle names you may have.
Some name combos I like are [name]Ariana[/name] [name]Grace[/name] (nn [name]Aria[/name]), Kalia [name]Celeste[/name] (nn [name]Kali[/name]), and [name]Natalia[/name] [name]Suzanne[/name] (nn tali or talia). Let me know what you think! Thanks
[name]Ariana[/name] works great with either Kalia or [name]Natalia[/name], but I think Kalia and [name]Natalia[/name] are much too similar. I think [name]Katia[/name] would work much better than Kalia, and prefer [name]Natalia[/name] of the two names. [name]Hope[/name] this helps.
I think they work very well together! [name]Ariana[/name] and [name]Natalia[/name] are my favorites, although I think [name]Ariana[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name] work better stylistically. I think [name]Tali[/name] and [name]Aria[/name]/[name]Ari[/name] would be very cute together! Kalia nn [name]Kali[/name] is very adorable, too.
I like [name]Katia[/name] and [name]Natalia[/name] (assuming the pronunciations of kaht-ya and na-tal-ya) together a lot. I don’t care for [name]Ariana[/name] but I don’t hear it as a problem with your others. [name]Celeste[/name]/[name]Celestia[/name] would be one I consider for a first? I prefer [name]Ariella[/name] or [name]Aurora[/name] to [name]Ariana[/name], no offense.
Kalia is pretty, as is [name]Calantha[/name] and [name]Calixta[/name] if you like the [name]Callie[/name] sound, but I wouldn’t have [name]Natalia[/name] with it. [name]Natania[/name] (nah-tan-ya) or [name]Valeria[/name] or something might work with Kalia though.
(But I think I love [name]Natalia[/name] more of the two)
My sister has all or almost all a- names for her girls’ list. She has really good taste - it’s not my taste but it’s good - and she thinks it makes it sound more cohesive.
I personally generally like all different endings for my girl’s list as I think it makes them sound more distinct, but I don’t manage that with my boys’ list at all.
For your middle names, I love [name]Celeste[/name]. I find [name]Grace[/name] a bit nothing. [name]Suzanne[/name], I tend to prefer [name]Susannah[/name] or [name]Susan[/name].
Other middles:
[name]Natalia[/name] [name]Sabine[/name]
[name]Natalia[/name] [name]Simone[/name]
[name]Natalia[/name] [name]Seraphine[/name]
Now that you’ve thought about [name]Katia[/name] instead of Kalia I think [name]Ariana[/name], [name]Katia[/name] and [name]Natalia[/name] go well together. If you like the A endings I think it can be a very sweet theme. I’d just suggest not doubling up on initials or beginning or ending sounds.
