I prefer [name]Ariela[/name] T-.
But with [name]Lydia[/name] I prefer [name]Arielle[/name] [name]Lydia[/name]. Provided it’s said “[name]Air[/name]-ree-elle”
The double ll’s bother me in [name]Ariel[/name], idk why. It makes it seem more common and less “wow” I guess.
I’ve always liked [name]Ariela[/name]/[name]Ariella[/name], finding it more exotic then [name]Arielle[/name]. [name]Both[/name] are very pretty though.
[name]Both[/name] names are too airy fairy and princessy for me…not that they are bad names, they just aren’t my style. That said, between the two, I like [name]Arielle[/name] a little more. But I do have to be honest and say that I don’t like either name with your surname…way too rhymey. Gosh, I sound negative, sorry!
They are both lovely, and I love [name]Lydia[/name]!
I do agree it’s mildly rhymey with the surname. I don’t think that rules it out or anything. I find [name]Ariella[/name] gives it a little more distance, so it’s less obvious.
With [name]Ariella[/name] [name]Lydia[/name], some people I know don’t love when the FN and MN share the ending, although I find with two girls’ names ending in -a it’s not so bad, it’s just such a common ending.
With [name]Arielle[/name] [name]Lydia[/name], the end of [name]Arielle[/name] kind of runs into the beginning of [name]Lydia[/name], you can still basically tell what both names are, but it might sound a little like “[name]Aria[/name] [name]Lydia[/name]”. Or “[name]Arielle[/name] Idia”.
Good luck!
I voted for [name]Arielle[/name] because it flows better with [name]Lydia[/name] but I actually love [name]Ariella[/name]!! -ARE re ella. They’re both beautiful though
I like [name]Arielle[/name] [name]Lydia[/name] much better than [name]Ariella[/name] [name]Lydia[/name]. However, I think both are just a tad rhymey with your surname. Maybe [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Arielle[/name]?
I think [name]Arielle[/name] [name]Lydia[/name] works better, but I like the softer look of [name]Ariella[/name]. Then again, I can’t help but see/hear “areola” when I see/hear [name]Ariella[/name], so that has probably put me off of the name for good. I think [name]Arielle[/name] [name]Lydia[/name] is gorgeous, though.
