Okay so I’m aware I love some pretty niche names from characters/locations in Arthurian legends and doing a UC challenge with them made me wonder what other people’s opinions are on them so I figured I’d make a couple of polls to gauge things. I loooove a lot of the names from Arthurian legend, I remember being awestruck reading them as a little kid. [name_f]My[/name_f] absolute favorite was Agravaine, which I don’t like as much now because it sounds like “aggravate” and “vain” but as a kid I thought it was just stunningly beautiful. I also have a soft spot for Mordred, actually, I guess I gravitated towards names that sound vaguely (and probably given the characters intentionally) ominous.

I love almost all of these! Selecting a few was difficult. [name_f]Nimue[/name_f] and [name_f]Morgana[/name_f] are among my favorites, as are [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] and [name_m]Caradoc[/name_m]. But Rivelan is one I’ll have to consider adding to my own list!

So many stunning names!! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_f]Nimue[/name_f], [name_m]Percival[/name_m], [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], [name_m]Caradoc[/name_m], and [name_f]Iseult[/name_f]! I also really like [name_f]Avalon[/name_f], Elyan, [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m], [name_f]Morgana[/name_f], [name_f]Enid[/name_f], [name_f]Igraine[/name_f], and Rivelan!
I love [name_u]Endellion[/name_u] too, but prefer it on a boy (I had only seen it on here as a boys name, I had no idea it was originally a feminine one!).

Yeah! The saint’s often better known by her Latin name [name_f]Endelienta[/name_f] when not referring to the place name but it’s slightly too long for my tastes :sweat_smile:

Oh, I’ve never heard of [name_f]Endelienta[/name_f] before! That’s beautiful :slight_smile: I could definitely see why it’d be too long though! [name_u]Endellion[/name_u] is lovely though, and I’d love to see it used on any gender!
