Asher Finlay?

What does everyone think about this as opposed to [name]Asher[/name] [name]Patrick[/name]?

I have been fairly set on [name]Asher[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] for a while now, but I keep coming back to [name]Asher[/name] [name]Finlay[/name]… I love that [name]Finlay[/name] means “fair hero” or “fair-haired hero”, which would be a nod to my brother, since he’s both fair-haired and my hero (he serves in the [name]Air[/name] Force). I think it’s a really cool connection and I’ve been loving [name]Finlay[/name] lately, but I’m not sure about [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Finlay[/name] together. [name]How[/name] does it compare to [name]Asher[/name] [name]Patrick[/name]?

Thanks, ladies!

I prefer the flow of [name]Asher[/name] [name]Finlay[/name], and the meaning.

I like it but [name]Finlay[/name] looks misspelled to me and I want to pronounce it [name]Fin[/name]-[name]LAY[/name] instead of [name]Fin[/name]-lee. I would love [name]Asher[/name] [name]Finley[/name]. If you are set on the [name]Finlay[/name] spelling then I prefer [name]Asher[/name] [name]Patrick[/name], but if you use the [name]Finley[/name] spelling than I strongly prefer [name]Asher[/name] [name]Finley[/name]!!!

I like [name]Asher[/name] [name]Finlay[/name], but much prefer the [name]Finley[/name] spelling. It just looks more attractive to me. Would [name]Asher[/name] [name]Finley[/name] be an option for you or are you set on the [name]Finlay[/name] spelling?

I prefer the look and sound of [name]Asher[/name] [name]Patrick[/name], I find [name]Finlay[/name] odd in the middle name spot.

With regards to the spelling of [name]Finley[/name]/[name]Finlay[/name] - I think [name]Finlay[/name] looks better, but the first -ey ending is the most popular in the UK.

I think [name]Asher[/name] [name]Finlay[/name] is very charming, and I like the story behind it too. I like it more than [name]Asher[/name] [name]Patrick[/name].

As a first name, I would urge you toward the more common [name]Finley[/name] spelling, but I actually like the look of [name]Finlay[/name] more, and I don’t think it would be at all problematic as a middle name.
