Atlee, Atleigh, Atley, Attley, or not at all?

I recently heard this name and fell in love, but need spelling suggestions thanks!

I personally don’t like this name and would never use it, but if I had to pick one I would go with Attley.

Not at all, but my choice would be Attley.

I don’t care for it, but like the others I choose Attley

Why not [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]?

I don’t care for the name or any of the possible spellings. I second @southern.maple’s suggestion of Natlalie.

Attlee is a surname to me. British Prime Minister [name_m]Clement[/name_m] Attlee (1945 - 1951) is all I can think of when I hear this name so I wouldn’t choose the [name_f]Atlee[/name_f] spelling. But, apparently [name_f]Atlee[/name_f] is also a masculine given name (variation of Atley).
Atley is a masculine given name and it doesn’t sound very feminine to me
The -leigh ending in Atleigh is very trendy

I am not a fan of the name but, if I had to choose a spelling, I’d choose Atley because it appears to be the original spelling.

I used to have a friend named Attalee

I agree, Atley is my preferred spelling, although it am not a fan of the name.

I confess if a child said to me their name was [name_f]Atlee[/name_f] I would presume they were saying [name_f]Natalie[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Atlee[/name_f] as at least it looks feminine.

Not at all. Sorry.

Not at all is my vote, too. I love [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], though! You could even use [name_f]Atlee[/name_f] as a nickname if you wanted.

I strongly dislike it, but Attley looks like the only one that could be a name.

Not at all.

I like the suggestion of [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], though.

I too think of the former British Prime Minister when I see the name so I would go with [name_f]Atlee[/name_f]. It’s a little too cutesy and surname-y for my taste but I do like the meaning of the name: “lives near the woods”. Second spelling choice would be Atley. The worst spelling is Atleigh.

[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] was my first thought.
I agree that [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] with nn Atlie would be my preference.

I am really not a fan of this name, sorry! To me it sounds a bit too made up… I would definitely go with Atley or Attley spelling though - looks more sophisticated

Not at all.

I actually quite like it and I think it goes well with [name_u]Laiken[/name_u]. Attley is the most usable spelling, in my opinion.

I love [name_f]Atlanta[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Attie[/name_f] for short but you could use Attley as a nn. I would not use Attley as a first name. no offense.
