My vote goes to [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I’ve known a few male Aubreys, so that’s more ambiguous, and the “d” sounds more sophisticated to me. Both go very well with the combination you picked out, though!
I prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] has the same classic, sophisticated feel as [name_f]Mara[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and I think it makes for a very beautiful combo.
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is so beautiful and elegant! And I’m not even usually a fan of [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but it sounds great in this combo. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is sweeter and more feminine than [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] to me, and I like the [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn connection. That being said, though [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] is technically unisex, I’ve only ever known one who was female, and none who were male.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] peaked for boys in the U.S. around 1910, and slowly decreased over the past century. It’s been more commonly used for girls since the 1960s. So it’s traditionally male, but a lot like the way [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] is traditionally male. It’s my impression anecdotally that it remains more common for men outside the U.S.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] definitely gets my vote this time. I’m not sure what it is about [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], but I really do not like it. [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] seems very sweet to me
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], by a mile. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I prefer the spelling [name_f]Aubrie[/name_f].
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] feels like a name from the 80s.
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Mara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is stunning! [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] has my vote.
I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] ages better than [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]. I picture a sophisticated woman with great taste in decoration and fashion for [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I picture a fun little girl for [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]. Both are lovely names though!
