What do you guys think of the name [name]Auden[/name] for a boy? [name]Do[/name] you think it sounds too feminine? Maybe it should be paired with a more “masculine” middle name? I also like the idea of having initials he can go by for a nn. So, I like the idea of a middle name that starts with J or C. Any ideas for a strong middle?
I like [name]Auden[/name] for a boy, an old fashioned name worthy of resurrection.
Possible middle names, [name]Charles[/name], [name]Colin[/name], [name]Christopher[/name] or [name]Jonathan[/name], [name]Joseph[/name], [name]James[/name].
I really like [name]Auden[/name] for a boy. I’m also really getting tired of the question “Is this to feminine?” whenever people ask about a boys name that isn’t [name]John[/name] or [name]Micheal[/name]. Sorry, that question just really bugs me.
I think of [name]Auden[/name] as unisex, but I do prefer it on a boy. I like it a lot! I think you should definitely go with a very clearly masculine middle-I like the suggestion of [name]Charles[/name].
I love [name]Auden[/name] for a boy. I like [name]Auden[/name] [name]Gray[/name] (spelled this way)
For J & C’s, here are some suggestions…sorry for duplicates.
I like [name]Auden[/name] for both genders. I don’t think it’s too feminine. [name]Auden[/name] [name]Dashiell[/name] is nice, very literary. I also like the suggestions of [name]Auden[/name] [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Auden[/name] [name]Callum[/name].
And [name]Jersey[/name], I wasn’t really asking if it was feminine because it wasn’t [name]John[/name] or [name]Michael[/name]. I really just wanted some insight on if people consider it a girls name or a boys name. I obviously don’t want to give a name to a son that is solely associated with girls
I really like [name]Auden[/name]–it’s a lovely alternative to [name]Aiden[/name]/[name]Aidan[/name], and it has a really cool literary feel to me. I like [name]Auden[/name] [name]Gray[/name], [name]Auden[/name] [name]Joseph[/name], and [name]Auden[/name] [name]Dashiell[/name] (swoon!). I think something like [name]Auden[/name] [name]Conrad[/name] or [name]Auden[/name] [name]Jonah[/name]/[name]Jonas[/name] would be lovely, as well.
I like it better for a boy than a girl I’m not a fan of the Grae spelling because that does look like something people do to feminize a name, but there have been lots of great mn suggestions that work nicely. [name]Auden[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] or Audem [name]Callum[/name] are my favorites so far.
