What are your thoughts? We know a few [name]Audrey[/name]'s but no [name]Sadie[/name]'s so it makes me lean towards [name]Sadie[/name]. But I hate the “reminds me of a dog” comments. Also big sis is [name]Claire[/name]. If that helps. Really stumped on a name this time around. Any opinions and suggestions are really appreciated.
I like both names, but I think [name]Audrey[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] make a beautiful sibset!
[name]Sadie[/name] is cute but far too much of a nickname (and sorry, but I do know a dog by the name), reminds me of Funny Girl. [name]Audrey[/name] is classic and sweet!
I love both! I think [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] are adorable, but I slightly prefer [name]Audrey[/name] (not because of the dog thing for [name]Sadie[/name], either!). To me, [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name] are quite “AY” heavy in sound. That, and [name]Claire[/name] [name]Audrey[/name] was on my list for a long time and I really love the pairing! I think [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] are perfect together.

Another vote for [name]Audrey[/name]! [name]Claire[/name] is a beautiful name, that will work well on an adult or child. In my opinion, [name]Sadie[/name] is too nickname-y to work with [name]Claire[/name]. I see [name]Sadie[/name] more as a sister to [name]Elsie[/name] or [name]Lucy[/name]. You could also consider [name]Sarah[/name] nn [name]Sadie[/name], but I think [name]Audrey[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] go very well together. They’re both recognizable, and seem of the moment without being trendy.
I second the poster above, in terms of support for [name]Audrey[/name], and also [name]Sarah[/name] with an almost-all-the-time nickname of [name]Sadie[/name], is what I would do if [name]Sadie[/name] was pulling my heartstrings the most!

I love [name]Sadie[/name] and I have never understood why people think it’s a dog name.

I love both names! Where I live [name]Audrey[/name] isn’t as popular as [name]Sadie[/name]. My name is [name]Sarah[/name], and I know that [name]Sadie[/name] (and [name]Sally[/name]) are both nn’s of it. But with all of the other [name]Sara[/name]/[name]Sarah[/name]'s I’ve ever met (and there have been a TON), I’ve never met one that has gone by either [name]Sadie[/name] or [name]Sally[/name]. It’s always been [name]Sara[/name]/[name]Sarah[/name]. So I don’t think that would be too huge a deal. I do think [name]Audrey[/name] sounds better with [name]Claire[/name], though.

[name]Sadie[/name] is one of my favorite names! We actually considered it for our second daughter due in [name]April[/name], but I too got tired of the dog comments, and it actually is our neighbor’s dog’s name so that was the nail in the coffin for us. There were other factors in that choice though, so I wouldn’t let the dog thing sway you if that’s the only problem with [name]Sadie[/name].
That being said, I think [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] sound absolutely PERFECT together, if you care about the “sib set” thing.
