Audrey Vs Aubrey

Which girls name do you prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] or [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]? If so why?

I don’t really know which one I prefer but if I had to choose it would probably be [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] I think it has a softer sound.

I prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] as it seems classic and less trendy.

Both are pretty but I prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I wouldn’t use either though!

I prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. It’s very cute and chic. [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] is too trendy.

I love both so much! I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is classic and timeless. I would think of a very elegant little girl, because of the famous [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn. I like the soft sound of [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] though, and it reminds me of the fall and auburn colors. But, I would choose [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] because of the timeless feel and relation to Old Hollywood.

I like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] for girls and [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] for boys.

I would choose [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] . I think its classic , romantic and has the wonderful assosiation with Hepburn .

[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] on the other hand seems trendy & masculine too me .

I think [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], it sounds like a fall baby to me

I prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]

I definitely prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. It’s a beautiful vintage name with a great image, whereas [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]'s more modern and seems quite masculine to me, even though it’s softer in sound.

Neither are my style, but I prefer [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] because it is softer sounding. Reminds me of soft plush teddy bears and silk ribbons, lots of cuddles and warmth, gentleness and kindness. The D in [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] sounds harsher coming out. Though it does make [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] sound bolder, braver, and have a crisper sound, it gives me the visual image of the autumn leaves that make that satisfying crunch under your foot and the feel of a cool breeze on your flushed face. Though I do think if I had to pick I’d go with [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], even though they both are kind of charming in their own way.

I want so badly to like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] because it looks really pretty, but I just really don’t like the sound of it. I personally think it sounds a bit dated, but then again the only Audreys I know are 28 years old or older so that might have something to do with it. I agree that [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] sounds much softer and this is one of the few cases where I prefer the trendy name over the classic one.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]!
It’s one of my favourite names. It’s timeless, classic and feminine, and has a great, great namesake: [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] is too trendy and looks misspelled to me, like a kind of kr8iv spelling of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].

I definitely prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] over [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]. [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] is very trendy and popular right now, whereas [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] has stood the test of time.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f], just because I don’t like the ‘bre’ sound of [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], I think of the mean [name_f]Breanna[/name_f] girls I’ve knwon.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is classic and so elegant, [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] is trendy for a girl and much better on a boy.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] is a boys name to me.

[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]! It’s softer and lighter on the tongue.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Is classy and timeless.

[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]. This is a wonderful boys name. It’s one of my favorites. It’s just not the same on a girl. I know little boy Aubreys who rock this name so hard that it pains me to hear it on girls.
