Audrey vs. Iris which one would you choose if you had to choose one?

[name_f]Iris[/name_f]!! [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is such a beautiful name that can be so many personalities–dainty, bookish, sporty, glamorous. So much potential for an [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. Plus, I think [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] make a lovely sibset, and a little less expected than [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. However, I think we can all have a tendency to over-stress perfectly matched sibsets when each child is an individual in his or her own right. With that said, [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] os perfectly lovely, I just [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] though!

I’d choose [name_f]Iris[/name_f], because it is actually our top pick at the moment.

But I also think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is a great match with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]

I love them both, but I definitely prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] just seems so classy and reminds me of the beautiful [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn!

I like both. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is elegant and stylishly vintage. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is sweeter and spunkier. It also brings to mind the song by the Goo Goo Dolls and so has a tragic, wistful feel to it.

I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is a bit dated and quite boring. If I was judging people purely based on their name and I met an [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] I would probably think she was very plain and simple.

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] on the other hand is very feminine and pretty. It’s cute enough for gushing at the newborn, but not so frilly that it can’t be taken seriously when that baby grows up.

Wow people have such differing opinions of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] I used to dislike her and now she is one of my top names. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] has been growing on me lately though. I think I prefer [name_f]Iris[/name_f] for someone else, but [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is that one that would work for me.

[name_f]Iris[/name_f]!

I find it fresher and younger than [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] by a mile. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] seems very dull and dated to me. Not classic at all. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is a fresh vintage choice and I love it with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. [name_m]Both[/name_m] are so bright and sprightly

[name_f]Iris[/name_f]! It’s a beautiful name. I’ve never been a fan of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], it seems very dusty to me.

I understand why these two names made the top of your list.

I prefer [name_f]Iris[/name_f] as I know a few too many [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]'s under 3. Also love the quirkiness of [name_f]Iris[/name_f].

We are leaning towards [name_f]Iris[/name_f].

Any middle name suggestions? Last name is pronounced Fal-uh-set-e.

[name_f]Iris[/name_f], definitely. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is mega-popular and has lost all of its former glamor. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is quirky and a little exotic.

[name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f]! Ok, was that too emphatic? [name_u]Love[/name_u] this name, wish I had a daughter to name [name_f]Iris[/name_f]!

A little longer, slightly feminissima middle name like . . .

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Lucasta[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Annora[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Helena[/name_f]/[name_f]Elena[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]

Iris by a mile. Jack & Iris are cute together. Also where I’m from, Audrey is seen as an ‘old lady’ name and that’s how I view it.
For middles maybe Iris Elizabeth, Iris Matilda or Iris Emmeline?

I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. It’s classic, beautiful, strong yet feminine. Everything that a good, solid name should be with a little hint of fun and girly mixed in there.
