I’ve been toying with adding [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] (a longtime favorite Slavic name meaning “lively”! [name_f][/name_f] I say it zee-vehn) to my list, and came across [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] which I am really liking today. [name_f][/name_f] I would probably do [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] James/Jack/Grey in full (all of which are family names). [name_f][/name_f] I love [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] visually but worry [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] has too many similar sounds to [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]. [name_f][/name_f] Would love to know your honest thoughts on the combo, and if it doesn’t work for you, do you like [name_m]Asa[/name_m] [name_m]Ziven[/name_m], [name_m]Finley[/name_m] [name_m]Ziven[/name_m], or [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] any better?
[name_f][/name_f]
I find I first fall for a name visually so may need a reality check on the sound of the combo if it’s really bad. [name_f][/name_f]
I love it! I’ve never seen it before, so it is positively intriguing to me. I don’t find it hard to say, or find that there’s too many repeating sounds, though, I do struggle with saying Augustine Ziven James or Augustine Ziven Jack. Augustine Ziven Grey is incredibly handsome, and so are Asa Ziven and Finley Ziven. Desmond Ziven sounds good subjectively but I am not really fond of Desmond lol.
do you say [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] as “steen” or “stin”?
[name_f][/name_f]
I think Augu-(stin) [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] work setter than Augu-(steen) [name_m]Ziven[/name_m], but I think either could work. It feels unexpected, but sleek and stylish too.
[name_f][/name_f]
Of your other options, [name_m]Finley[/name_m] [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] is my favourite sound-wise but I don’t like how it appears visually [name_f][/name_f] so [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] remains my choice
Oh, I’m glad you love it! [name_f][/name_f] I have been thinking a two syllable ending in N middle would work well with [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] like [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] or [name_m]Ziven[/name_m]. [name_f][/name_f] I’ll probably look at a few other options but I am finding myself rather smitten with [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] today!
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]
I say steen! [name_f][/name_f] Yeah, I’m having trouble with the visual appearance with the zippy Z in the middle of nowhere lol but I like [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] [name_m]Ziven[/name_m] more than I was expecting! [name_f][/name_f] I do think I’ll look at some other 2-syllable names ending in N like [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] or [name_m]Lorcan[/name_m] or Declan; something about them feels like they’d go well with [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]? [name_f][/name_f] I like [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] a lot visually and sound wise but since [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] is in my top 3 I try not to repeat him as a middle.
