[name_m]Augustus[/name_m]!

And the spelling [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] is 100% feminine. [name_m]Augustin[/name_m] is masculine (it’s like [name_m]Simon[/name_m]/[name_u]Simone[/name_u], [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]/[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f], [name_m]Martin[/name_m]/[name_f]Martine[/name_f]). I would definitely not pick [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]. If your son wants to travel in Europe, he will have problems and maybe get teased.

[name_m]Augustus[/name_m] without a second thought.

[name_m]Augustus[/name_m] as a first name, although I like [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] in the midddle

Can I be a rebel and say I love [name_u]August[/name_u]?

(Voted [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]; [name_m]Augustin[/name_m] is good too but [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] looks feminine to me)

I’m not generally a fan of -us names (although I have been liking them a little more lately), so my pick would be [name_m]Augustine[/name_m].

[name_m]Augustine[/name_m] is not 100% feminine. The most familiar [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] is the (male) St. [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] of Hippo. [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] is only a female name in [name_m]French[/name_m]; it’s the [name_m]French[/name_m] form of [name_f]Augustina[/name_f]. In other European languages, [name_m]Augustin[/name_m]/e is considered a male name, with [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] or [name_f]Augustina[/name_f] being the feminine form.

[name_m]Augustus[/name_m] without a doubt!

I love [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]! [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] doesn’t feel every wearable; almost pretentious. Plus, I think of [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] Gloop.

He may get teased?! Nice fear mongering. [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] is very much a masculine name in most of Europe. [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] can be pronounced ‘aw-gus-teen’ or ‘aw-gus-tin’

I love both but I love [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] just a bit more than [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]. Both are awesome choices!

[name_m]Augustine[/name_m] <3 I don’t see it as feminine at all, perhaps because of St. Augustine. It’s a very handsome name.

On paper [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], but as an actual name [name_m]Augustin[/name_m] seems more wearable

I picked [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], but I like both names.

Depends on the combo for me, I like them about equally. Neither nearly as much as [name_u]August[/name_u] though. I’ll vote [name_m]Augustine[/name_m], though I’d probably spell it [name_m]Augustin[/name_m] or even [name_m]Augusten[/name_m].

[name_m]Augustus[/name_m] is one of my guilty pleasures.
