Aurelio and Philo

I’ve never been a big fan of most -o ending male names, but I do love these two: [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m] and [name_m]Philo[/name_m], both mystery book detectives.

[name_m]Aurelio[/name_m] sounds sexy and Italian to me and [name_m]Philo[/name_m] reminds me pleasantly of dapper [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Powell[/name_m] playing [name_m]Philo[/name_m] [name_m]Vance[/name_m].

If you hate both, there is no need to respond, but I am curious if others are drawn to them too and if so, how they imagine them.

I really like [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m]! I first heard it from a show my fiance was watching.

I STRONGLY prefer [name_m]Aurelius[/name_m] to [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m]–like you, I don’t usually care for the -o ending–but I love [name_m]Philo[/name_m].

I think they’re both nice names, both give me the same appeal/tone I think. Very ‘handsome’ names.
