i was stuck between aurora & eliana or aurora & cambria. I voted for a&c but now i think i changed my mind haha. I’m personally not a big fan of naming twins with matchy names or the same first letter, but all of the other combinations i liked. I also like the nickname options of [name]Rory[/name] & [name]Cami[/name] or [name]Rory[/name] & [name]Ellie[/name].
It was between [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Eliana[/name] and [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Leilani[/name].
[name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Eliana[/name]: I love the connection of dawn and sun. Plus both start and end with vowels–they don’t have to worry about being called the Double-A twins or some other quirky names people label twins with instead of learning their names.
[name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Leilani[/name]: Two of my favorite names. [name]Love[/name] that [name]Leilani[/name] means heavenly flower.
In my opinion, the least favorite pair is [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Jordana[/name], as you said, I don’t really see a connection.
I love [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Anastasia[/name]!! They sound so regal and beautiful. And they provide wonderful nicknames, my favorite pair being [name]Rory[/name] & [name]Annie[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Anastasia[/name] - I love both names individually, love them together (I don’t think they sound too matchy, despite the A initials they have distinct sounds), I love how the meanings compliment each other and I love how they are both “princess” names. Sisters can be competitive, and I think this is likely amplified for twins, so I think its important to make things like names as equal and balanced as possible. I just imagine one loving that they shared a name with a Disney princess (as most little girls would!) and the other hating that they don’t! Lol. I suppose to avoid this if you don’t use [name]Anastasia[/name], you could use [name]Belle[/name] as the middle name for the second twin!
[name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Eliana[/name] - again, I like both names individually and think they work well together. They feel equal and are both feminine and a little frilly. Again the meanings compliment each other well. A really lovely choice. But personally I find [name]Anastasia[/name] has the same sophistication as [name]Aurora[/name], whereas [name]Eliana[/name] could feel a little trendy in comparison because of all the “[name]El[/name]” names and “iana” names like [name]Ella[/name], [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Elena[/name], [name]Aliana[/name], [name]Adriana[/name], [name]Liliana[/name] etc. And I just slightly prefer [name]Anastasia[/name] to [name]Eliana[/name] anyway, but thats me being picky, it really would still be a great choice. And for what it’s worth, [name]Eliana[/name] [name]Belle[/name] is lovely lol.
[name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Leilani[/name] - I’ve always had a soft spot for pretty [name]Leilani[/name], and the meaning heavenly flower is lovely. I like that the sounds of the names are more distinct than some of the other choices (different initials and ending sounds) while still complimenting each other since both are 3 syllables, soft and feminine. I put it third though because the names don’t match as well style wise to me as the combos above, even if they match sound wise. [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Leilani[/name] have very different feels and I wouldn’t picture them as sisters, although I guess theres something nice and unexpected about that. I still prefer the above options though for their subtle connections that make the names feel more like “twin” names. But again, [name]Leilani[/name] would be lovely and [name]Leilani[/name] [name]Belle[/name] works too hehe You may already have middles chosen!
I’m not a fan of [name]Cambria[/name] (feels masculine and trendy to me sorry!), [name]Jordana[/name] or [name]Abriana[/name] sorry. [name]Amaya[/name] is lovely but I don’t like it at all with [name]Aurora[/name], this one does feel way too matchy sorry.
So theres my two cents! [name]Hope[/name] it helps and congrats on the twins!
Yay! I’m so glad that you’ve chosen [name]Aurora[/name] for one.
[name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Eliana[/name] is my number one, I love the relation to the [name]Sun[/name].
Second, is [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Anastasia[/name], then [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Leilani[/name].
I voted [name]Cambria[/name], but also think [name]Anastasia[/name] would be a beautiful choice to go with [name]Aurora[/name] if you don’t find it’s length too cumbersome.
I voted for [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Leilani[/name]. I love both meanings and like the fact that both names have repeated consonants, but are completely separate names. [name]Cambria[/name] was a close second.
I’m torn! I actually like [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Amaya[/name] the best, I think that’s perfect. If you’re not feeling them, though, then I would lean toward [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Eliana[/name] or [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Jordana[/name]. I think they have a similar cadence but are quite distinctive, girly, and fun. I like [name]Eliana[/name] slightly more than [name]Jordana[/name], and I think [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Eliana[/name] stylistically might be a better match, but you can’t go wrong with either.
Ahh, [name]Leilani[/name]! I totally forgot about that. I really like [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Leilani[/name], too, maybe even more than [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Eliana[/name]. [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Leilani[/name] is fabulous.
[name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Leilani[/name]…I suggested this combo on one of your other posts. [name]Leilani[/name] is a personal favorite of mine and I just like them together. My second choice would be [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Anastasia[/name].
#1 [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Cambria[/name]- I’ve like [name]Cambria[/name] since I was young, it’s just so pretty and different #2 [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Jordana[/name]- I think the set is unexpected but goes together nicely. They sound elegant but not Disney princessy. Would you feel better with the Italian version, [name]Giordana[/name]?
[name]Leilani[/name]- I feel like it’s overdone and generic. I know backwoods country folk with kids named [name]Leilani[/name]. It’s the safe yet exotic name for people who aren’t comfortable enough with names like Kaikala or Mahina
[name]Abriana[/name] and [name]Eliana[/name]- sound trendy. I know tons of -iana’s
[name]Anastasia[/name]- too Disney princessy for me
[name]Amaya[/name]- nothing special, doesn’t have the same umph as [name]Aurora[/name] or the other names
Also, I noted people mention [name]Anastasia[/name] as a disney princess, she’s not disney, she was done by [name]Fox[/name]. [name]Just[/name] thought you should know, both princesses, but not done by the same movie company.
Yes I know she’s not Disney. [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Anastasia[/name] sound kiddie/fantasy/“Disney”, while [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Jordana[/name] sound like real life princesses
I voted for [name]Eliana[/name],a nd secondly for [name]Anastasia[/name]. Like the meanings that go together, and just the names themselves. I do not like [name]Cambria[/name]. Reminds me of chambray or some kindof fabric. [name]Abriana[/name] is okaaay. [name]Jordana[/name] is kind of cute. [name]Do[/name] not like [name]Amaya[/name]. [name]Leilani[/name] is cute too, but I’m just not going for it here.
I voted for [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Eliana[/name]. I love [name]Eliana[/name], it is on my list and I like the connection that their meanings have. I also think they sound good together. Same “a” ending but different too. My second vote would be for [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Anastasia[/name]. Very beautiful names, and very matching in style. They sound great together! Good luck!
