I’ve been thinking a lot about this name lately. I keep imagining a little girl running around Disneyland wearing the little pink Sleeping Beauty dress, declaring that she IS Sleeping Beauty! I like the nn [name]Rory[/name] and would use the mn [name]Jeanne[/name], as it’s both of my grandma’s names (yay!!). What do you think of [name]Aurora[/name], and what names would make a good sister for her? I’d like to use [name]Louise[/name] or [name]Kathryn[/name] (spelled only this way…family name) for “[name]Rory[/name]'s” sister’s mn. For boys, I’m pretty dead-set on [name]Henry[/name] [name]Alan[/name] and [name]Leander[/name] “[name]Leo[/name]” [name]Atticus[/name] ([name]Leander[/name] is a family name). =)
So, sisters for [name]Aurora[/name]? And thoughts on it? Thanks in advance to all who answer!
I love [name]Aurora[/name], it used to be one of my top favorites. To be honest, once I started thinking it was hard to pronounce, I can’t get it out of my head! Ahh-rora. Shouldn’t be too hard to say right? But for some reason I can’t wrap my tongue around it. Maybe it’s just me! In theory, I think it’s a gorgeous name. So fairytale, and I love that.
As far as sisters for [name]Aurora[/name], I like everyone else’s suggestions!
I love it…but have decided I prefer [name]Honorah[/name] nn [name]Honey[/name] and find these names too similar to be a sibset…
It has definitely been a name that I have considered.
[name]Esme[/name] (though I associate it with Twilight, and I read those books-- pegged eternally as a fan!)
[name]Lilia[/name] (though with [name]Leander[/name]?)
[name]Elodie[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] (not fond of [name]Jules[/name]/[name]Julie[/name], though)
[name]Saoirse[/name] is gorgeous looking, but I can’t pronounce it to save my life!
Tops- [name]Seraphina[/name] (she’d have a really long name-- my surname is 9 letters long!) and [name]Dahlia[/name]. [name]Dahlia[/name] is just really, really pretty! Very exotic =)
[name]Hi[/name] [name]Erasmus[/name]! You know, I somehow missed the part about [name]Leander[/name]/[name]Leo[/name]! (Sorry about that!) [name]Just[/name] pretend I didn’t list [name]Lilia[/name].
I love [name]Dahlia[/name] as much as you do, and really love all of your favorites.
(By the way, I love [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Leo[/name].)

Thanks, [name]Jill[/name] =) I sort of slipped [name]Henry[/name] & [name]Leo[/name] in there…no worries! I do think [name]Dahlia[/name] is my top-top, actually…D’you think it goes with [name]Louise[/name] (grandma’s mn) or [name]Kathryn[/name] (mom & great grandma) as a mn? And what of ‘[name]Lia[/name]’ as a nn? (My mind goes eratic with thoughts someties…sorry)
This is completely cheesy, but I thought of [name]Briar[/name] [name]Rose[/name]… which morphs into [name]Bryony[/name]. I also see “[name]Belle[/name]” names with [name]Aurora[/name]. [name]Isabelle[/name], [name]Annabelle[/name], [name]Arabelle[/name], etc, therefore, she can be [name]Belle[/name], while her sister is Sleeping Beauty. But then, I think I would be hesitant for too much of a theme. Like [name]Ariel[/name] and [name]Aurora[/name]. Which is ashame, because I really like the name [name]Arielle[/name].

[name]Hi[/name] again. I love [name]Dahlia[/name] [name]Kathryn[/name] (I love [name]Louise[/name], too, but just like [name]Kathryn[/name] more with [name]Dahlia[/name]), and think that [name]Lia[/name] is a really cute nickname.
I just thought-- [name]Lia[/name] and [name]Leo[/name]. Is that too matchy, or is it just me? What other nn’s are there for [name]Dahlia[/name]? Good night =)

Oh, that’s right! (I keep forgetting poor [name]Leo[/name]!) You know, now that I think about it, even [name]Dahlia[/name] is a bit matchy with [name]Leo[/name], because of the ending. Hmm…(What do you think?)
What about calling [name]Dahlia[/name] “[name]Dolly[/name]” or even “[name]Ollie[/name]”?
On the bright side, [name]Henry[/name] works with the [name]Lia[/name] nickname!

Take care! :-)[/quote]
I do love Hello, [name]Dolly[/name]! =) But I just find [name]Dolly[/name] a bit old…
What about [name]Ginevra[/name] (nn [name]Ginny[/name])? I’m a Potterfan, so…
