[name]Hi[/name] guys,
Australian baby name blog Waltzing More than [name]Matilda[/name] has posted an interesting list of girls names that chart in Australia but not in other countries. I know a lot of you are interested in international naming trends so thought you might like this.
This finally explains why people on here see [name]Tahlia[/name] as an unusual name when I’ve always seen it as very common!
Thanks for posting. It is an interesting read.
I had no idea [name]Indiana[/name] and [name]Jorja[/name] were so popular there, yet not at all in the US.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Bronte[/name], [name]Tahlia[/name] and [name]Bridie[/name]
[name]Bridie[/name]'s growing on me too, actually! It’s very cute. I really don’t understand the [name]Jorja[/name] trend, though. I know one [name]Jorja[/name] who would be in her late teens and I didn’t realise it was a trend across the board. This spelling just takes all the class out of a lovely classic name, IMHO!
I also like [name]Asha[/name], [name]Lucinda[/name] and [name]Zahra[/name], although I do prefer the [name]Zara[/name] spelling.
Am I the only person who wants to pronounce [name]Jorja[/name] as “hor-ha”?
