Avery Madison??

Trying to build a list of girls names i like:

Really like [name]Avery[/name] and [name]Brooke[/name]

Middle names so far [name]Madison[/name] and [name]Beth[/name], also like mercedes but not sure if thats too much, i quite like stylish names but open to suggestions!

Any help please

[name]Hi[/name]…I am due in about 6 weeks and planning to name our little girl [name]Avery[/name] [name]Nicole[/name]. ([name]Nicole[/name] is my sister’s name.)

I like [name]Avery[/name] with an “M” middle name…thought about [name]Avery[/name] [name]Michelle[/name] or [name]Avery[/name] [name]Micaela[/name]-but I do like [name]Avery[/name] [name]Madison[/name] too.

Good luck deciding!

I do really like the name [name]Avery[/name], but I just wanted to point out to you that it is currently number 38 for popularity and its in the 200’s as a boys name. [name]Madison[/name] is even worse of an offender…it’s currently number 4! This could mean that your future daughter will share a name with 5 others in her class. This may or may not bother you, but I thought I’d point it out. [name]Both[/name] [name]Brooke[/name] and [name]Beth[/name] feel dated to me. [name]Brooke[/name] seems stuck in the 80’s and [name]Beth[/name] an even more dated 70’s. Granted this is just my opinion. [name]Brooke[/name] is number 52 right now, so not everyone feels the same way I do  [name]Beth[/name], however, isn’t even in the Top 1000. This could mean that it feels “dated” to many others as well.
Here are some other names I thought might work in place of your names, in case you’d like them

Instead of [name]Avery[/name]:

Instead of [name]Brooke[/name] (FYI - I just read [name]Pam[/name]/[name]Linda[/name]'s excerpt on [name]Brooke[/name], and they don’t feel the same way I do):

Instead of [name]Madison[/name]:

Instead of [name]Beth[/name]:

[name]Hi[/name]!

I second [name]Rica[/name]'s post, and think she made some great points.

[name]Madison[/name] is really overused (see [name]Pam[/name] and [name]Linda[/name]'s comments by typing “[name]Madison[/name]” into the “check out a name” box), but like [name]Rica[/name] said, this may not bother you. [name]Pam[/name] and [name]Linda[/name] write that [name]Taylor[/name] is “oh so nineties,” and I guess I personally see [name]Madison[/name] in the same light.

[name]Avery[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Simone[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name]

Some first names you may like that are less popular than [name]Avery[/name]:

[name]Audrey[/name] (at #44, it’s very popular, but it’s a timeless classic)
[name]Emery[/name] (I think [name]Rica[/name] suggested it, and I think it’s lovely)
[name]Genevieve[/name] (nn [name]Evie[/name])
[name]Romilly[/name] (nn [name]Romy[/name])

The ones that most remind me of [name]Avery[/name]'s sound or feel:

[name]Mallory[/name] (it has the M sound you like in [name]Madison[/name], plus [name]Avery[/name]'s ry ending)

More alternatives to [name]Brooke[/name]:

I love [name]Rica[/name]'s Madsion alternatives, especially [name]Adeline[/name], [name]Madeline[/name], and [name]Margaret[/name].

If you’re looking for something with [name]Madison[/name]'s son ending, you may also like [name]Ellison[/name] and [name]Jameson[/name].

I also thought I’d suggest [name]Blythe[/name] and [name]Bess[/name] instead of [name]Beth[/name].

Good luck!
