Avilla?

I think that I made this name. I pronounce it uh-VILL-uh. What do you think about it?

How would you pronounce this name? Also do you like it?

Avila with one L is an actual name and I prefer it, but Avilla isn’t bad. I’d pronounce it same with you.

Avilla isn’t bad! I also prefer [name_f]Avila[/name_f], which I would pronounce, uh-VEE-luh. I would instinctually pronounce Avilla, uh-VEE-yuh, though.

It’s quite pretty

I quite like it, and would pronounce it the same as you.

I like the pronunciation uh-Vee-ya like how you would pronounce two Ls in Spanish.

I prefer it spelt [name_f]Avila[/name_f], which is a place name and related to a saint name. Regardless of spelling or pronunciation, though, it’s gorgeous!

I associate it with something in the Catholic faith. St. [name_f]Teresa[/name_f] of [name_f]Avila[/name_f] maybe?

I like it but I would assume this was pronounced uh-VEE-yah, so I think [name_f]Avila[/name_f] or Avillah might get your pronunciation of uh-VILL-uh across better.

Id be confused why someone misspelled the LN of Avila. I would tentatively pronounce it as uh-VILL-uh. Like “a villain”. I could see ppl saying AV-ihl-luh, too
