Awkward last name, help!

So i’m loving these 4 names: [name_m]Beau[/name_m], [name_m]Booker[/name_m], [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m], Gier (pronouced guy-er). [name_m]Beau[/name_m] is my favorite…it goes splendidly with big sisters name-[name_f]Miriam[/name_f]. But does it sound too terrible with the last name [name_m]Olsen[/name_m]?? Which name should we go with? I feel confused!

Have you considered using a longer name with [name_m]Beau[/name_m] as a nn? I agree with you, it’s my favorite of the four, but the o sounds do run together when it’s said with your last name.

Beaumont
[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m]
Bowden (though I don’t love how it ends the same way as your last name.)

I think you could even get away with [name_m]Booker[/name_m] nn [name_u]Bo[/name_u]/[name_m]Beau[/name_m]. Gier sounds awkward to me, and I strongly dislike [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m], sorry. It’s far too aggressive for my taste and the boys I’ve met with the name have only confirmed this for me. It would make for a very Scandinavian combination with your ln.

Good luck!

I love the suggestions of [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] NN: [name_u]Bo[/name_u]

And I adore [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m]

[name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] [name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] “[name_u]Bo[/name_u]”
[name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] [name_m]Beau[/name_m]

[name_m]Beau[/name_m] is the only one here I like. The rest just sound like double barrelled surnames.

I really like [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Olsen[/name_m] with sister [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]. I think you could get away with the nickname [name_u]Bo[/name_u].
