So it’s come to my attention that I kind of like the name [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]… and not because of [name_m]Iggy[/name_m]. Actually because both the house I grew up in and my grandparents’ house across the street both had azalea bushes, and I have a lot of memories of playing pretend under the azaleas. Plus they’re just pretty, happy flowers and my grandmother used to dry them in the pages of my grandfather’s books… a few fell out in my lap the other day while I was reading and just made me smile.
What do you think, first or middle?
I sort of like it with [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] as a first name… [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]? [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t know what I would pair with it if [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] was the first name. And, if it was a first name, do you think Zealie is too much of a stretch for a nickname? There’s always [name_f]Lea[/name_f], but it’s just okay to me.
I personally like [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] in the first name spot. [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] flows very nicely. I don’t think Zealie is too much of a stretch. It’s actually quite cute. There is also Zaylie, [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] (like [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] w/o the K), or Z as possible nicknames.
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f] sounds like [name_f]Azaria[/name_f] to me. [name_f]Azaria[/name_f] was the name of the baby stolen by a dingo in Australia, so I don’t like it.
I think [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] makes a lovely first name! [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is wonderful. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] is also beautiful–whichever order you choose would be fantastic!
I love [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] as a first for that combo too, [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is just lovely. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] doesn’t have as nice a flow [name_f]IMO[/name_f].

[name_f]Azalea[/name_f] is fantastic whether it’s in the first or middle slot. I’m a huge fan. Similar to you, my grandfather used to grow azaleas around his house so I have fond memories of them. Then there is also the song by [name_m]Louis[/name_m] [name_m]Armstrong[/name_m] & [name_m]Duke[/name_m] [name_u]Ellington[/name_u].
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] is very nice. [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] would work as well. [name_f]My[/name_f] own [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] combos are [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], and [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] as a first and a middle. It was briefly my second favourite girls name. Now I’ve got it as a middle ([name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]), and I think both [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] sound great! I slightly prefer [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f], because I love [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] so much more.

[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] is so lovely that I wouldn’t want to create any new combos! If you were to use [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] in the fn spot, you would have to think carefully. I would want to have a simplistic mn but then you run the risk of using fillers.

[name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] flows better as a combo but I prefer [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] as a first name in general. I also think that [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is a better “fit” with most of the names in your signature. You would probably have to let [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] go so I would use [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] as a middle name.

The general feeling seems to be that [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] flows better than [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f], and I’m just curious what makes you feel that way? I feel like sometimes I don’t really understand ‘flow’, maybe because I was blessed/cursed with a 2-2-2 syllable count name, lol (which I love)! Does it make a difference in flow if I mention the LN is one syllable, sounds like “Belts”?
