A running tradition in my family is that boys’ initials are either SBW or BSW. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I don’t find it necessary by any means, I like the idea of continuing it if I can find names I like enough. So, I’m really looking for suggestions of names that start with either B or S.
For S names I already have on my list:
[name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_u]Shane[/name_u]
[name_u]Shea[/name_u]
[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]
[name_m]Stone[/name_m] (as a middle)
[name_u]Storm[/name_u] (as a middle)
And my absolute favorite boy name ever is [name_m]Slade[/name_m].
For B names I only have:
[name_m]Bjorn[/name_m] (as a middle - it’s not conventional but it’s a nod to my [name_m]German[/name_m] heritage)
[name_u]Blair[/name_u]
My last name starts with a W, ends with a -ton, and is three syllables, if that helps.
I’m really looking for suggestions of names and even combos if you’d like! Since [name_m]Slade[/name_m] is my favorite name, I’m liking [name_m]Slade[/name_m] [name_m]Bjorn[/name_m] the most right now but am just trying to expand my list.
[name_m]Slade[/name_m] [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] is my favorite combo I can think of.
[name_m]Slade[/name_m] [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m]
[name_m]Slade[/name_m] [name_u]Brighton[/name_u] (although not sure if [name_u]Brighton[/name_u] would sound right with your last name, if you will be using your last name)
Thanks for the suggestions, guys! [name_f]Glad[/name_f] to see [name_m]Slade[/name_m] is so well-received.
I’m liking [name_u]Sterling[/name_u], [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], [name_m]Brandt[/name_m], and [name_m]Simon[/name_m] so far. I’ll have to mull those over! I want to like [name_u]Sander[/name_u] so badly but it sounds like someone who sands!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Slade[/name_m] and [name_u]Storm[/name_u]-- both on my list but were vetoed by my husband for various reasons… I wouldn’t hesitate to use either of these, especially as middle names… another combo idea: [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_u]Blake[/name_u] or [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] [name_u]Blair[/name_u] (or vice versa).
