First of all, amazing job on naming [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Cecelia[/name]! That name combo is too gorgeous!(-: You and your husband have lovely names, as well.
[name]Lily[/name] [name]Kate[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - Although your last name is long enough to pull off two short names, [name]Lily[/name] [name]Kate[/name] doesn’t sound quite as accomplished as, say, something longer like [name]Lily[/name] [name]Katerina[/name]. You must be warned: [name]Lily[/name] is extremely popular and still climbing. Some alternatives are [name]Liliosa[/name], [name]Lilias[/name], [name]Lilia[/name], [name]Lola[/name], [name]Elisabeth[/name] “[name]Lilibet[/name],” or [name]Susannah[/name] nn [name]Lily[/name] (it means “lily”).
[name]Blythe[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - [name]Blythe[/name] is such a cool, collected name and [name]Amelia[/name] is so rich and full. This combo is a beautiful one.
[name]Jane[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - [name]Jane[/name] is just fantastic! Really, I’m liking all of your names. [name]Elizabeth[/name] (which to me reminds me solely of [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Bennet[/name] of “Pride and Prejudice”) is a simultaneously strong, yet feminine, name. Another great combo. Oh, and I just realized that her initials spell out [name]Jem[/name], so if you like the name [name]Jemma[/name], she could always go by that–added bonus.(-:
[name]Cecelia[/name] [name]Marie[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - Very pretty, even if [name]Marie[/name] is a very common middle name (if only I had a quarter for every time…) Does it not bother you, though, for one daughter to be given the first name that is the same as another’s middle name? [name]Cecelia[/name] substitutes could be [name]Ophelia[/name], [name]Carolina[/name], or [name]Cordelia[/name].
[name]Clarissa[/name] [name]Kai[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - Not on the same level as your other combos, I don’t think. [name]Clarissa[/name] just seems too fanciful to me (perhaps you’d like [name]Clara[/name] or [name]Lucinda[/name] nn [name]Lucy[/name]?), although this just might be a personal bias of mine. [name]Kai[/name] doesn’t seem the same flavor as the other names you like.
[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Danielle[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - [name]Penelope[/name] is a stunning name! It has such cute nn’s, too, such as [name]Penny[/name] and [name]Poppy[/name]. [name]Danielle[/name], I think, is a bit dated, but [name]Arabella[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name] are more modern steps up from the same “elle” family. Although, [name]Penelope[/name] already has an “el” in it, so you might want to pair it with a different style of name.
[name]Ivy[/name] [name]Mae[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - I do like both of these names quite a lot. My only problem is that, again, their lenghths together don’t amount to much. I like [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] nn [name]Mae[/name], or something along those lines, much better.
[name]Jenette[/name] [name]Kiana[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - [name]Jenette[/name] is sadly dated (for similar-ending names, try [name]Scarlett[/name], [name]Juliette[/name], or [name]Violet[/name]), and [name]Kiana[/name] is no longer original; [name]Cipriana[/name] or [name]Emiliana[/name] would be much more stylish.
[name]Kelsey[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - [name]Kelsey[/name] is just on it’s way to a name death. [name]Olivia[/name], though pretty, is getting much more popular…consider turning to names like [name]Olive[/name], [name]Ottilie[/name], or [name]Olympia[/name] instead.
[name]Daniel[/name] [name]Ellis[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - A nice, if somewhat boring name. I don’t know if you’ll see the same connection, but [name]Ellis[/name] always reminds me of [name]Everett[/name], the second of which I like much better.
[name]Sylvester[/name] [name]Barnaby[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - [name]Sylvester[/name] would definitely be risky, but hey! I could totally see [name]Sylvester[/name] being the next cool thing. A question: if you like [name]Sylvester[/name], do you perhaps also like [name]Sylvia[/name]? If so, you might want to put that on your girls’ list. But with [name]Sylvester[/name], I’d just make sure you have a good nn picked out for him: Sev (my favorite), Styl, [name]Vester[/name], [name]Les[/name]. This name also reminds me of [name]Chester[/name], another favorite of mine. Maybe think about switching the middle & fn’s around? I love [name]Barnaby[/name].
[name]Sebastian[/name] [name]Rufus[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - Oh, I do like [name]Sebastian[/name]! [name]Rufus[/name] is a daring choice, too, and really goes well in this combo. This gets another seal of approval.
[name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Augustus[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - [name]Benjamin[/name] is a somewhat boring name to me (I’ve always prefered [name]Benedict[/name]), but [name]Augustus[/name] is a great choice.
[name]Elias[/name] [name]Bartholomew[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - My favorite combo! [name]Elias[/name] (which I pronounce EE-[name]LEE[/name]-uhs), is a DASHING name. [name]Bartholomew[/name] is sophisticated and perfect for the mn. Please choose this one!
[name]Quentin[/name] [name]Matthias[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - Ooh, a close second. [name]Quentin[/name] has a very upper-crust sound and [name]Matthias[/name] is very refreshing. (Please, God, no more [name]Matthews[/name]!)
[name]Patrick[/name] [name]Charles[/name] [name]Mortimer[/name] - Not as “bam” as your other combos, but a decent one. [name]Padraig[/name] is a cool form of [name]Patrick[/name].
