We have a daughter called [name_f]Larissa[/name_f] [name_u]Teal[/name_u] and baby number 2 due in 6 weeks and sex unknown.
We’d vaguely thought of Croyde [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] for a boy or [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Bernice[/name_f] or [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Caprice[/name_f] for a girl.
What do people think - do these link with [name_f]Larissa[/name_f]'s name and style?
I think [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is great with [name_f]Larissa[/name_f]. Both are feminine and not too commone. I prefer [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Caprice[/name_f] over [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Bernice[/name_f] (unless [name_f]Bernice[/name_f] is an honor name which would trump other considerations).
I am not a fan of Croyde - It looks confusing to me. I do love [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]. [name_f]Larissa[/name_f] and [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] are a great pair.
Have you considered [name_m]Crosby[/name_m], [name_u]Cody[/name_u], or [name_m]Craig[/name_m]?
With [name_f]Larissa[/name_f], I like the following for a brother:
Sounds like we’re basically settled on the girls name and need to work on the boys!!
Unfortunately none of the ‘C’ names you suggested are going to work as I have close friends with babies/toddlers with those names. Although I do like them!
Perhaps I should try [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] as the first name and think of other middles then…
I’m wondering if perhaps Croyde is a family name as NB doesn’t list it? Because it isn’t a “known” name he will constantly be asked to spell it, etc. but I think it would be great in the middle spot. I really like [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] Croyde.
My favourite for a girl is [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Caprice[/name_f] as that middle is the same style as [name_u]Teal[/name_u].
