Hello, my name is [name]Andrea[/name] and my husband’s name is [name]Matthew[/name]! First of all, I am new here! After reading several threads on this website I decided I’d see if you could help me and my husband come up with a name we love for baby number six.
I think I should explain how we got to baby number six, because well, we certainly didn’t imagine this even a few years ago. When I met my husband I had my daughter [name]Caitlin[/name] and he had his daughter [name]Tabitha[/name]. After we got married we both wanted another baby and we got our son [name]Owen[/name]! We wanted one more and ended up with twins [name]Savannah[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name]. Then about 6 months ago I found out I was pregnant, its not a planned pregnancy but we are still thrilled nonetheless.
Our other children are:
[name]Tabitha[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] (12)
[name]Caitlin[/name] [name]Rose[/name] (11)
[name]Owen[/name] [name]James[/name] (6)
[name]Savannah[/name] [name]Grace[/name] (3)
[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Rachel[/name] (3)
Since this is going to be our last child we decided to keep the gender a surprise!
Some names we like are:
Girls:
[name]Avalon[/name] (my niece’s name is [name]Ava[/name], is it too close to this?)
[name]Rebecca[/name]
[name]Violet[/name]
Boys:
[name]Ryan[/name]
[name]Dakota[/name] (my nephew’s name is [name]Cody[/name], is it too close to this?)
[name]Aaron[/name]
I dont think [name]Avalon[/name] is too close to [name]Ava[/name] but I dont think it flows as nicely with our other childrens names as much as [name]Rebecca[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]. With that said, [name]Ive[/name] never been a huge fan of the name [name]Rebecca[/name]. I think [name]Violet[/name] is BEAUTIFUL, however.
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Avalon[/name] sounds lovely to me…
other girl names to consider…
[name]Hannah[/name]
[name]Haley[/name] ([name]Haley[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name])
[name]Holly[/name]
[name]Lauren[/name] ([name]Lauren[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name], [name]Lauren[/name] [name]Becca[/name]…)
[name]Alexandra[/name]
[name]Erin[/name]
[name]Brynn[/name]
[name]Breanne[/name] (I think this goes SO well with [name]Elizabeth[/name] & [name]Savannah[/name]!.. btw- good choice on [name]Savannah[/name], as that is my own daughters name!)
[name]Addison[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name] ([name]Audrey[/name] [name]Avalon[/name] sounds wonderful to me, as well as [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Violet[/name])
[name]Charlotte[/name] (another GREAT, classic name!)
[name]Sierra[/name] ([name]Sierra[/name] [name]Avalon[/name], [name]Sierra[/name] [name]Violet[/name], [name]Sierra[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name]… all sound great to me!)
For boys, I love all your choices, and I dont think [name]Dakota[/name] and [name]Cody[/name] are too similar… You could call him “Kota” for short, if you were lookin for a nickname…
more boy names to consider:
[name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Lucas[/name]
[name]Camden[/name]
[name]Christopher[/name]
[name]Seth[/name]
…hope this helps!!! I knw how you feel, my husband and I are expecting babies # 3,4 &5 and naming them is SOOO HARD!!!
Since this is going to be our last child we decided to keep the gender a surprise!
Some names we like are:
Girls:
[name]Avalon[/name] (my niece’s name is [name]Ava[/name], is it too close to this?) - Yes
[name]Rebecca[/name] - I really love this name but it has been overused. Still it is a great name!
[name]Violet[/name] - love, nice with the older sisters’ names.
Boys:
[name]Ryan[/name] - really overused, so trendy
[name]Dakota[/name] (my nephew’s name is [name]Cody[/name], is it too close to this?) [name]Dakota[/name] is super trendy and overdone
[name]Aaron[/name] - overdone
I love [name]Owen[/name] although it is really popular…Some other popular Celtic names:
[name]Colin[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] (not as popular but will be after a while)
[name]Callum[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name] - although this may be going to the girls.
For me, [name]Avalon[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] don’t fit with your other children’s names … All five are beautiful by the way! I think [name]Rebecca[/name] fits the best. For boys, I think [name]Ryan[/name] and [name]Aaron[/name] fit … [name]Dakota[/name] is too unisex for me :(.

Hello, first of all congrats on your baby. On the girls names I really don’t care for [name]Avalon[/name] since it does not really flow well with your other kids names. I like [name]Violet[/name] the best because at my old school there were like 10 rebbebas so that is a lot. On your boys names I like [name]Dakota[/name] the best and I don’t think that it is too close to [name]Cody[/name].
[name]Avalon[/name] for a girl and [name]Dakota[/name] for a boy are my favorites. I dont think [name]Avalon[/name] is too close to [name]Ava[/name] since they are cousins, not sisters. [name]Even[/name] if you nn her [name]Ava[/name].
Yeah, my husband and I both love the name [name]Amelia[/name]. We can’t use it because my husband’s ex-girlfriend ([name]Tabitha[/name]'s mother), named her daughter that. We don’t see her often but, it would be weird for [name]Tabitha[/name] to have 2 sisters named [name]Amelia[/name].
I love the names [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Isla[/name] for girls. [name]Do[/name] they go with our children’s names though? What are some names for boys?
I like [name]Andrea[/name] (but its my name, so thats a no go). I also like [name]Violet[/name]. I’m not much of a fan of [name]Winifred[/name], would [name]Willow[/name] work?

Ooh, I forgot your name is [name]Andrea[/name]. It’s so beautiful, but I understand that you don’t want to name your daughter [name]Andrea[/name]. [name]Violet[/name] is so pretty. [name]Willow[/name] would work, too. So pretty!
Girls:
[name]Avalon[/name] (my niece’s name is [name]Ava[/name], is it too close to this?) - Seeing as she would probably end up nicknamed [name]Ava[/name], I’m inclined to say it is too close. Of course, this depends on how often you see the cousin, if they’re close in age etc. as to whether it’s a problem. Perhaps consult the other [name]Ava[/name]‘s parents before choosing this name …
[name]Rebecca[/name] - nice, but nothing special. Still, I wouldn’t discount it, as the feel (traditional and slightly old-fashioned [in a good way]) matches your other daughters’ names.
[name]Violet[/name] - beautiful. This is actually one of my favourite names! As above, it matches your existing children, too.
[name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Isla[/name] - I love them both, and again, they go nicely.
Boys:
[name]Ryan[/name] - quite nice.
[name]Dakota[/name] (my nephew’s name is [name]Cody[/name], is it too close to this?) - I’m really not a fan of this name, but that’s probably got a lot to do with the fact it is very American, so I’m just not used to it (I’m English). Not too close to [name]Cody[/name], though.
[name]Aaron[/name] - my favourite out of your choices for boys.
[name]Hope[/name] I helped!
