Baby #8 is here!!

On [name_m]Saturday[/name_m] [name_f]October[/name_f] 19th we welcomed our 8th child and 5th daughter, [name_f]Verity[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f].

She joins siblings [name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_u]Micah[/name_u] [name_m]Paul[/name_m], [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_f]Olivet[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u].

This was by far the most difficult name decision we’ve made yet, but we kept coming back to the lovely simplicity of the name [name_f]Verity[/name_f], from the Latin word for “truth”.

We couldn’t totally get away from botanical roots, however. We chose the middle name [name_f]Willow[/name_f], because it brought to mind the tree planted by the water in Psalm 1, when paired with her first name.

She is beautiful and healthy, and we are over-the-moon in love!

Wow! Eight! Congratulations! I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_f]Verity[/name_f]! I’ve definitely heard of it before, but never truly recognized the name’s beauty! I love your other children’s names as well, they’re all so “boho” sort of, and I love that style and the fact that you gave them bohemian names while they’re still heard of makes me speechless.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] all your names!! [name_f]Verity[/name_f] is so rad and also similar to my fav [name_f]Vera[/name_f]–but I personally don’t want to use either due to a V ln.

Can I ask about [name_f]Acacia[/name_f]? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you use any nns? [name_f]Do[/name_f] ppl trip over spelling or pronunciation?
