Baby Berries April/May/June 2024

Our scan went well! :tada:  [name_u]Baby[/name_u] is full of wriggles (although not enough to be in a helpful position for the technician). We got all the images he wanted except of the heart. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] was apparently very comfy and did not want to move. We ended up going to do some shopping and then going back to the clinic to see if all the walking about had encouraged baby to wriggle into a different position. We finally got all the images the tech wanted of the heart after two hours!! The tech said that from everything he could see baby is doing well and measuring correctly.

I don’t know why, but the image of baby’s feet made me feel really emotional. It’s so mind-boggling that there’s a whole little person in there, with these two little kicking feet. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

In other news, we are officially away and checked into our accommodation. I feel so relaxed and the bed is sooo comfortable. Here’s to a good rest and no daily-life responsibilities for two weeks! :clinking_glasses: :sparkles:

@Kibby No amount of positive scans seems to take away the anxiety!

@NameSearchAccount I’m sorry others are giving advice without your asking. That’s so frustrating (and overwhelming when there’s already so much going on!). People are so insensitive at times. :unamused: It’s so good that your birth centre and hospital are so close to each other - you’ll be in good hands, no matter which you choose! Oh wow! Your lactation hormones are too keen to do their job haha
