Baby Berries April/May/June 2024

@NameSearchAccount sorry the tech (may) have let the sex slip! That is a little disappointing, although who knows for sure.

@_thelittlefairywren glad that baby looked good at your last check! [name_f]My[/name_f] doctor doesn’t even tell me what my fundal height is, just lets me know each time that I am measuring in the range they want to see.

@Kibby that is nice that you had some in person options for classes, our hospital never went back to in person after covid. We signed up for an infant care class which was somewhat useful, at least nice that it is specific to our hospital.

I am barreling towards 34 weeks, and periodically have a bit of a panic over all the things that we still have to do! [name_f]Baby[/name_f] shower is in about a week and a half, and I plan to purchase anything else we need right away when baby comes after that. I also have a spring break in mid-March, so I have always envisioned that I will get a lot done that week. Fingers crossed. [name_f]My[/name_f] list is still quite long.

I think how soon the baby will arrive is starting to sink in for my husband. We try to do a weekly marriage-check in, although lately it has been mostly baby related, and he just said we need to make sure we do out check in tomorrow (last week I was exhausted from the RSV shot plus a terrible day at work) and discuss the birth plan. Which is a great idea, and I am so glad he wants to do this, but I am not sure he knows even the first thing about labor and don’t know where exactly to start. I have started a birth plan and a document for him too for how he can support me in labor, so I guess we will just go over those. Unrelated, but he also only learned yesterday what a “rainbow baby” is, and surprised me by mentioning that he realized our baby is a rainbow baby and saying we should make a point of calling him that so people know how common miscarriage is.

In an attempt to help my panic a little bit I have a targeted to do list for the weekend for getting some baby-related stuff prepped, although I am also dealing with a cold this week and just feel pretty icky. Hopefully it passes soon. [name_m]Amazing[/name_m] how much harder just basic illness is when you are pregnant!
