It’s a boy! He will be joining sister [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f]. After much debate and some tough name losses, we have a final 3 contenders: [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m], [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m], and [name_m]Brando[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m].

Looking for opinions! Also open to other middle name suggestions. Thanks!
Congratulations! I have adored the combo [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] ever since I heard her name – so I’m so eager to hear your other names!!

Your current list, ranked favorite to least:
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] → I think [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] is the perfect medium between the classic, masculine [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] & the unexpected [name_m]Brando[/name_m]. He’s got such a familiar, friendly sound, just like [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m], and I love how playful he feels. I also love love love[name_f][/name_f] hearing [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] as a middle, I rarely ever see [name_m]Edgar[/name_m]!
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] → another great pick! [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] is one of those lovely classics that has never gotten too popular but still has so much charm! [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] balances out the combo by adding a touch of that playful vibe that [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] has too.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Brando[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] → I like this combo on paper, but I’m not a huge fan of [name_m]Brando[/name_m] when said aloud. However, he has such a strong sound & a southern feel that’s great! [name_m]Knight[/name_m] is cool as a middle, too, but I will suggest [name_m]Brando[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] just for fun!
It’s really hard to chose between [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]! [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] seems like a good match for your daughter’s unusual surname-name, but I think that [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] has the same grandness and sophistication as [name_f]Willoughby[/name_f], but it is much more common. I like the middle names for both combos as well. I don’t dislike [name_m]Brando[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m], but it has a completely different feel to your daughter’s name in my opinion. Good luck deciding!
I’d choose [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] as a sibling for [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f]. It has a similar feel with first names being familiar but not used often, paired with a more classic middle spot.
[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] is great with your daughter’s name! I like how both first names share the double L and the middle names both starting with E is a nice connection too.
I love [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]! [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] is more conventional than [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] but still uncommon (assuming US) and matches [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] in length and gravitas. And then you have a stately, adventurous surname in the middle spot to balance it out. I think [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Brando[/name_m] or [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m] work nicely too.
Completely agree with @katinka[name_f][/name_f] really love [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] and feel he matches nicely with big sister for all the reasons stated by @katinka[name_f][/name_f].
[name_m]Oh[/name_m] wow [name_f][/name_f], what show stopping [name_f][/name_f] names !!
[name_f][/name_f]
For me I am torn [name_f][/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f]
Individually my vote goes to [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]. I think it is such a handsome name that works well throughout a life time. I love how there are so many nickname options [name_f][/name_f]. [name_m]Freddie[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f], [name_m]Red[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f], [name_m]Rick[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f], [name_m]Eddie[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f], [name_m]Derick[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f], [name_m]Fred[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f], [name_m]Eric[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
However I think [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] fits better as a set with [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- and I love the connection of the double L
Echoing others here but whilst I love [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] aesthetically, [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] feels like the better match for big sis. With traditional [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] I might assume a sibling named [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] was a boy (partly because they are both [name_m]Austen[/name_m] love interests!). More offbeat [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] matches Willoughby’s energy better imho, then they both have traditional E-initial middles (although I also like [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] as others have suggested).
[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] fit great with sister’s name and are beautiful options. Personally I prefer [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] between the two as I think it flows the best.
[name_f][/name_f]
I don’t love [name_m]Brando[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m]. [name_m]Brando[/name_m] reminds me of [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] [name_m]Brando[/name_m] who was a fine actor but a not so good person. [name_m]Knight[/name_m] adds to the bad boy energy here, so the name feels sort of dark to me.
All three are lovely with your daughter’s name, but I personally prefer [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]! [name_f][/name_f] I love the nn [name_m]Freddie[/name_m], and [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] is such a great Austenian pairing!
[name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] is so offbeat that I have to go with [name_m]Brando[/name_m] here. [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] and [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] feel too conventional almost.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] with Will0ughby El0isa. [name_f][/name_f] I like [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] the best as a first name, plus I like the double all’s is [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] and Will0ughby. [name_f][/name_f] I like that both middle names begin with an E. [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] is a fabulous name. [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] is friendly and approachable. [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] is elegant and distinguished sounding. [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Just[/name_m] perfect.
I like all for you. I think maybe [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] is my favourite with [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f].
I don’t like [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] or [name_m]Brando[/name_m], but I think [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] fits really well with your daughters name.
