Baby boy incoming

It’s a boy! He will be joining sister [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f]. After much debate and some tough name losses, we have a final 3 contenders: [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m], [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m], and [name_m]Brando[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m].

Looking for opinions! Also open to other middle name suggestions. Thanks!

  1. [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] → I think [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] is the perfect medium between the classic, masculine [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] & the unexpected [name_m]Brando[/name_m]. He’s got such a familiar, friendly sound, just like [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m], and I love how playful he feels. I also love love love[name_f][/name_f] hearing [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] as a middle, I rarely ever see [name_m]Edgar[/name_m]!
  2. [name_f][/name_f]
  3. [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] → another great pick! [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] is one of those lovely classics that has never gotten too popular but still has so much charm! [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] balances out the combo by adding a touch of that playful vibe that [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] has too.
  4. [name_f][/name_f]
  5. [name_m]Brando[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] → I like this combo on paper, but I’m not a huge fan of [name_m]Brando[/name_m] when said aloud. However, he has such a strong sound & a southern feel that’s great! [name_m]Knight[/name_m] is cool as a middle, too, but I will suggest [name_m]Brando[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] just for fun!

It’s really hard to chose between [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]! [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] seems like a good match for your daughter’s unusual surname-name, but I think that [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] has the same grandness and sophistication as [name_f]Willoughby[/name_f], but it is much more common. I like the middle names for both combos as well. I don’t dislike [name_m]Brando[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m], but it has a completely different feel to your daughter’s name in my opinion. Good luck deciding!

I’d choose [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] as a sibling for [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f]. It has a similar feel with first names being familiar but not used often, paired with a more classic middle spot.

[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] is great with your daughter’s name! I like how both first names share the double L and the middle names both starting with E is a nice connection too.

I love [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]! [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] is more conventional than [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] but still uncommon (assuming US) and matches [name_m]Willoughby[/name_m] in length and gravitas. And then you have a stately, adventurous surname in the middle spot to balance it out. I think [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Brando[/name_m] or [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m] work nicely too.
