Baby Boy name for Last name Snow

Looking for suggestions for baby boys name to go with the last name [name_f]Snow[/name_f].
Thanks in advance to all that suggest [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f] from Game of Thrones… but would appreciate other suggestions as well.

I have a [name_m]German[/name_m] heritage and so my husband would like to stick with a [name_m]German[/name_m] name if possible. My father’s name is [name_m]Hans[/name_m] and his father’s name is [name_m]Harold[/name_m] and we were thinking [name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_m]Harold[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f] (Although I’m not the biggest fan of naming after people in the family, I do like the name)…

Here is the rest of list I have been noodling:

Would appreciate other name recommendations we well.

Thanks!

From your list I really like [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_u]Emmett[/name_u], [name_m]Kasper[/name_m], and [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] (although [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is not a good match for your surname).

Suggestions:
[name_m]Johannes[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]
[name_m]Conrad[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]

[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]
[name_m]Wilhelm[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]

From your list:

[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_m]Ansel[/name_m]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_m]Linus[/name_m]
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]

I like the sounds of [name_m]Hans[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f].

Others from your list:
[name_m]Linus[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]
[name_u]Porter[/name_u] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]

If you want to use a [name_m]German[/name_m] name or one that is used here, I’d go with

[name_m]Leon[/name_m] - not exactly [name_m]German[/name_m] but popular here
[name_m]Henri[/name_m] - has a Germanic origin
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m] - would be [name_m]Oskar[/name_m] in [name_m]German[/name_m] (though both variants are used here)
[name_m]Linus[/name_m]
[name_m]Hannes[/name_m] - I think [name_m]Hannes[/name_m] is much nicer (and less clunky) than [name_m]Hans[/name_m], maybe [name_m]Johann[/name_m] or [name_m]Johannes[/name_m] might be options
[name_m]Lief[/name_m] - is a name as [name_m]Leif[/name_m]
[name_m]Emil[/name_m] - lovely
[name_m]Kasper[/name_m] - with this spelling it’s rather linked to a [name_m]German[/name_m] “clown-figure”, [name_m]Kaspar[/name_m] might be another spelling to consider
Stern - is not a name, in [name_m]German[/name_m] there are few word names and those that are being used are flowers, also reminds me of the Judenstern (star the jews had on their clothes during WWII)

Some more suggestions (I can’t really pin down your style, though):
[name_m]Karl[/name_m] / [name_m]Carl[/name_m]
[name_m]Viktor[/name_m]
[name_u]Theo[/name_u]
[name_m]Mats[/name_m]
[name_u]Florian[/name_u]
Niklas

I personally wouldn’t go with a boys name that ends in -s. It runs into [name_f]Snow[/name_f] too much.
Likewise, a name that ends in -o is a bit too -oh -oh sounding.

There’s some nice suggestions from pp though.

From your list I like:

liam
emerson
charlie
emery
logan
tate
halston
emmett
kasper
marlin
porter
landon

I really like [name_u]Tate[/name_u] as a MN with most of the options above.
